  • If that were even remotely the case, you'd have pixel clones .... You simply cannot trust the hardware involved in the American system at all. The past has shown us that often enough. Oh yes, and the cryptophones used by criminals, who also pay five-figure sums... They would build on that... But Google hardware is not trustworthy per se. The same goes for grapheneOS...

  • For closed hardware with closedsource driver... Same bullshit

  • 🤣🤣🤣🤣 not allowed by law.... Fck USAIf that were only 1%, all of the hardware from Pixel would be open source hardware with open source drivers, etc.

  • SS7 (thats already enough) .... oh and you cant trust hardware by google or now specific qualcom... Not possible by law.. Fake security..

  • Kodi etc.

  • Let's take raspberry as an example. You would install a suitable OS for multimedia ( maybe + pihole etc ) on it. You would place it behind your TV and connect it via HDMI. For convenience, you would not disconnect the raspi but consider it as one setup. So you can also do it with a Steam Deck (you just have to remember that it is immutable before making any changes), but is that what you want?

  • All programmers by microsoft. They cant code anymore

  • Let's see which knife Trump will stab Europe in the back with next... The USA is no longer an ally and we are crawling deeper and deeper into their ass... Sorry Denmark... Greenland will probably be given away...

  • While they flood the west with fentanyl etc.?

  • I got something mixed up. My mistake.

  • I must apologize. I got confused with another big project. I just looked again and saw that huge salaries etc. were/are a big problem by mozilla.

  • Things were still going "well" under Mitchell Baker (However, in 2022, for example, the salary was $7 million. ). In February 2024, there was a change of CEO and an announcement about the move towards AI etc. At that point, it was communicated that the company would continue in this direction. In addition, of course, there is the declining market share.

But forget about donating... I got a little confused and that was for another huge project. With Mozilla, it was because of excessive salaries... So my mistake sry.

  • Well, nobody wants AI...Nobody wants to donate...But everyone wants FOSS (F= free)...So how are they supposed to finance themselves... Surprise, surprise, this can happen with many OSS applications... Because everyone wants OSS as FOSS but supports it with 0 cents. Ultimately, we users are to blame... That has been clear for a long time... That may be the reason why she became CEO... Mozilla is not financially secure.

  • RIP

  • Psychotherapists, best friends, financial advisors, emotional support, all personal problems, etc. Yes, too many people have given AI control over their lives with so much information that could be used for blackmail.

  • Offline ollama instance + alpaca. Then use a model that can also use the terminal or look things up on the web, etc.

Just because it's an offline instance doesn't mean it's privacy.

  • People forgett ss7 too. If you can use normal features such as write sms or make calls without VoIP with your SIM card and smartphone, then it can no longer be considered secure. (This applies to everyone, by the way, including grapheneos, etc. and dumb phones)

  • *hamas terrorists in typical civilian clothes...
