  • I honestly think this is going to be the start of hopefully cold civil unrest. GOP will block federal aid, California and maybe other blue states will stop paying federal taxes. Red states start imploding.

  • I actually believe that this is how it should be. If it was a tyrannical government (but it's not) citizens could vote in a president that was falsely accused or imprisoned (he is 100% guilty of that and much more).

    I do want to clarify that I also believe Trump and the GOP will either destroy or renew (through third party actions) the USA as we know it and if they didn't constantly break the law this could be a good precedent.

    But the people voted and he got both popular and electoral votes. The people want the grifter. If it turns out low elo meddled with the results, well, see that third party actions comment.

  • We were talking about winning the lotto at work once and I said with a million dollars I would probably quit if I could earn 5% interest on it to get 50k a year. My boss was like, that's not enough you have to think about daycare and mortgage and car payments and everything. I then reminded him that I was currently making 30k a year. He stopped talking very quickly lol.

  • You can save wherever you want but ya, it is a game you would want to play consistently. Like taking a month break would be tough. But that's how most 1 player story games are, to me at least.

  • I also recommend Baldurs Gate 3 and Elden Ring. Baldurs Gate has one more big patch in the next month or two so I would wait until then to play it. I'm kind of waiting for that patch to drop to start another run through. Protip: pick the Dark Urge backstory.

  • This is crazy too, because as a falconer RFK should be extremely familiar with bird flu. We've been dealing with it for years and there's a story of someone's falcon or hawk dying from it semi-often. If he's part of a club he'll get HPAI reports even. I went to the national meet a few weeks ago and they separate birds that chase ducks and birds that don't (quarantine zones).

    Although I guess it's possible to know something exists and deny that it has a solution. So dumb.
