  • At least it didn't crack the screen with the bad hinge. I think it happens when the screws get a little loose and the angles shift. I work k-12 edu and have seen hundreds of Chromebooks do this.

  • 7 is fine, 8 is better imo, 9 is atrocious. If they were able to just make 9 decent the sequels would be acceptable. They really, really needed to have these movies thought out from the start though. You can absolutely tell they have no idea where the story goes from one movie to the next.

  • It's not a meme, people genuinely get upset about this. There was a post on a lemmy about the Comptia A+ study guide that had the question "What is GNU" with the answer of "It has to do with Linux" and people were writing essays on why this was not correct.

  • It's because it counts as an aircraft. Getting licenced to use your drone for anything more than "wooo, flyin mah drone" covers a lot of the same stuff a private pilot would know like reading the maps, airport landing procedure, and airspace. They treat it like an actual airplane. And you can't just start blasting at airplanes because they flew over your house. If it's doing more than just flying over it has to be addressed legally.

  • If lightsabers were real you would probably not be able to recover from losing a fight and getting one in you. Not because recovering from a stab is impossible, but if it was a real fighting style they would not go in and out so clean. You're telling me a sith lord would be so gentle coming out and not just go straight up through the face? I understand that that is a little to graphic for star wars but people would look like they'd been through a slap chop after losing to someone like darth maul.
