yeah but it showed what you're talking about. he's a destructive force of nature that can cause great misery even when he's trying to do the right thing
I think it's also been hijacked by christian and muslim fundies in recent years. at least I've noticed a religious flavor to a lot of it and when you look at the profiles of people pushing it they're often active in those groups.
