  • The NHS can't afford to employ them.

Their is a known and accepted shortage of NHS GPs. But a greater limiteion in paid to surgeries from NHS funding to hire etc.

This is why most GP surgeries. (Due to the history of forming the NHS most surgeries are private companies that do the hiring then are paid by the NHS). Are moving as much as possible to cheaper Nurse practitioners or other NHS staff.

  • The sales pitch for private education. Is the connections and networking it provides.

So while both are clearly true. It is very much a refusal to look beyond such educational connections. That reinforces the strong grip on power.

  • arrested on suspicion” in the UK does not evoke the same horror

It dose now it is clearly being used as a act to silence political protest.

Suspicious of malicious communication. When it is very clear the intent was to protest gov actions. And not to threaten or offend.

Is entirely about silencing gov opposition and in no way acceptable or democratic.

  • No. They claimed it was malicious communication. iE sent to offend or threaten.

Utter bollocks and a clear sign the police see censorship on behalf of the gov as a job role now.

  • Yep but are still applicable to the UK. As those laws have not (yet) been recinded.

Unlike the US. Parliament is entirely sovereign and has no legal limit on laws it can create. But we do have a history of supporting freedom of speech way older then 1998.

  • Apparently Malicious communications.

So basically the officers knew full well they have 0 chance of a successful trial. As no way any court will consider the intent to cause distress.

But instead are openly acting to silence inconvenient speech. Having had it made clear by the PA law that the gov wants that.

  • Translation 4 inconvenient people were silenced by officers. By forcibly removing them from the scene. Knowing full well the CPS will likely not press charges.

Given there is no way any court will consider the purpose as causing distress. As required by the act.

  • And being a zombie means a steam roller may catch him.

We just need to find a working one to borrow.....

  • So this is basically the government via DWP. Openly saying, we plan to ignore these experts and do not want voters to know.

Every MP needs to be contacted in large numbers. Told this is totally unacceptable as a gov policy.

Silencing the advisors used by a government to base laws. Is non democratic and totally unacceptable.

Edit: Written to my MP. But honestly it only has any effect when very large numbers of constituents, make it clear their votes are at risk.

  • You cloths really smell of alcohol.

  • Just looked up. The crossbow law you may have mistaken.

Technically it is still legal to own and carry long bow. But not to use to hunt. The laws requiring Englishmen to train have been repealed, and carrying arrows must be safety tipped in public. So it's not practical. But if you have a safe private space to practice (100m from public access).you do have a technical right.

But again carrying when. You are clearly not travelling to hobby shoot, is likely to come under offensive weapons act.

  • Lawful reason is pretty open to court interpretation. Job or pass time has tended to require actual appointments or indication of intended visit. Carrying in any way as an every day thing will tend to involve it being classed as a weapon.

I have a fairly large knife (far from a sword) strapped to the inner door of my brother's and my little narrow boat. As on the canals and rivers it is a genuine safety need to cut ropes or remove branches weeds etc.

But even walking with such on the towpath without a direct need has lead to friends arrest.

Edit; the kirpan is a specific exception in the offensive weapons act. So would not apply to anything not specifically allowed for in that act.

Religious exceptions do not apply in general. Only quoted one IE that one,

  • Is it. Pretty much like any weapon you are required to have a lawful reason to carry. As hunting with them is illegal. Carring every day is fairly easy for a cop to question.

  • Surly creating a new organisation with different motives to the NHS. Is hardly an effective way to manage ill health. This is literally a org with the same goals as the DWP under tories and Starmer. Just with a nicer name.

  • Unfortunately the right has always been able to ignore inconvenient facts. They are very skilled at denial.

  • He is not worth 650bln. From 380 to 415 depending on source.

The vast majority of that is in shares. If he started selling those shares (or giving them away) in the numbers indicated. The value would drop faster then he can sell them.

So while he most Def could bribe all MPs. It would be a hell of a lot less then a billion each. Unfortunately MPs are way way cheaper then that.

  • Not to mention. The desperation to divest to their children now. Is clear evidence that the common threat. Of leaving the nation, Is not a option for the actual assets.

Only those with high incomes can leave a nation. Those whose wealth is entirely in assets are bound by the location of those assets.

Hence why they are so freaking scared of taxation applied to the sale or growth of assets. It makes leaving more expensive rather then a threat to a nation.

  • Technically not yet.

This will sound insignificant but it is a result of the intentional set up of Your Party

All MPs that currently support Your Party are classed as independent. Because ATM no one has the authority to appoint them as Your Party MPs.

This is an intentional side effect of the Founders of Your Party preventing actions exactly like Starmer is doing here.

By making the very structure of the party democratically run by membership. And requiring MPs to be selected by local party groups.

Until the conference where members will choose a name and agree to processes/rules for the democratic selection of MPs leaders etc. No MP can be any more then a member of the party.

  • Given the speed it was covered. I'd not be surprised if it was a court employee. (Janitor etc). Who has a ongoing job of covering graffiti. likely due to rules of political independence/lack of bias.

  • Lack of fish will be the least issue.

Every time the bottom is trawed. Huge amounts of CO2 is released into the atmosphere.

The ocean base stores way more then any Forrest's etc.

2020 study estimated trawling releases between 8.t to 9.2 billion tons a year.
