  • ...and that the state had sovereign immunity from being sued.

  • What the fuck was he doing to his chest right before he slammed the door on his head for a second time?

  • Agreed, but there is also far too much consumer push back. Sunchips tried to make a more biodegradable bag, but people complained that they were too loud.

  • Ghosts

  • Can we define ghosts simply as the extinguished consciences of sentient life? So, dark matter and dark energy are the thoughts and memories of our universe.

With no mass they will continue in a straight line at the velocity they were at when they transcended.

    Ghosts everywhere!

  • Yeah, it's my perception that the BA for sciences are for people that want to teach high school and lower. That's how i got a math degree. I'm not sure if i could've handled any applied math. Abstract algebra kicked my ass twice, and diff eq took me a couple of months in to get comfortable with.

  • Reduce, reuse, recycle in that order. Recycling should be the final option to dealing with our trash.

I believe the focus for most people should be reduce (including myself).

  • Vote! Complacency loses every time.

  • Whoa, we need to go deeper.

  • This is the first I've heard about this. Anyone able to speculate on how hopeful Coke should be for a successful appeal?

  • Because Elon got jumped by 99 homeless people and he's no longer happy?

  • Vote!

  • Had to explain to someone yesterday that being gay isn't the same as being trans. He's one of them (I'll submit to the irony).

  • "There's a difference in the law," Silverstein said. "Different requirements apply to paid canvassers than volunteer canvassers. That's just the way it is. The reason the law is written that way is principally, there's a worry that because paid canvassers have a financial interest in collecting signatures, there's a concern that they will be more likely to make mistakes. More likely to violate the law. More likely to do something that's unethical."

What i don't understand is that if there is enough forethought by lawmakers that money corrupts, then why can't they see it is not just petition workers that are vulnerable?

  • If your 4/5 was true we would see more good cops standing up against these 1/5. But i have yet to see that happen.

  • As far as i know (and not a lawyer), nothing is getting thrown out now. The court ordered the ag to count all signatures. The extra 30 days are just standard, and most likely not needed here.
