You're an optimist if you think that anything he could say would change things now. If he does something completely unforgivable, that's when they'll claim Alzheimer's and Vance takes the reins.
and if they wanted to make a point just call him a pedophile, or a liar
Or maybe call him out on the topic he is actually talking about? Like they did. Perhaps that makes the point better than randomly shouting out a completely unrelated accusation?
I don't doubt that, but I think there's a difference in what we're calling "fat' here. I'd wager that you generally didn't raise cows with rolls of excess fat - just ones with a healthy amount.
AI can fake a particular moment and whip people up, but it can't stand any serious interrogation or follow-up. It is only good at showing people what they were already primed to believe.
Oh sure. I'm not saying it would need to stand up to any scrutiny. But the truth is getting less and less relevant.
And honestly, if an eternal AI Trump managed to deliver on the economy, and not deport too many white immigrants, it would probably be a shoe-in for decades to come, regardless of how implausible it was.
Maybe. Even assuming you live to a ripe old age, Trump only has to keep going a couple more years until AI is going to be indistinguishable from actual footage. Keep Trump holed up in Mar-a-Lago for "security reasons" and he never needs to die. He can remain president-for-life.
I've read that one too -- not sure if it was the fault of the translators, but it had better structure to it.
The hill I will die on: the English translation of Nena's 99 Luftballoons is far more poetic than the original. Some translators just have that magic ability to see what the author was going for, and then put it much better in a different language.
For smaller packages that's fine, FedEx etc. are allowed to pay the tariffs, then reclaim them from you (plus an admin fee you can get them to waive if you bug them).
It's a different arrangement for commercial companies, but the end result is the same - CBP take the tariffs in exchange for the goods, whether they take them from the customer directly, or from a broker like FedEx.
All these companies collecting this money just need to fucking stop, and say "Fine then sue me" to the WH
There aren't companies collecting the money. Customs and Border Patrol receives (paid for) goods, inspects them, charges a tariff, and releases the goods once the company who ordered it have paid the tariff.
A company has ordered something, paid for it, and receives a bill from CBP saying "pay this tariff or you can't have the stuff you've ordered and paid for".
The court said it's too early for the judges to decide if having the Ten Commandments posted in every classroom in Louisiana would violate the Constitution.
I'm well aware - I have a pretty comprehensive understanding of American political history, albeit entirely gleaned from Day of the Tentacle, The Wire, and that Obama "HOPE" poster.
So the news here is "Rebellious Republican didn't rebel against Republican bill"?
Except "rebellious" means "still toes the line 96% of the time" and "Republican bill" means "whatever fucked up turd of an idea Trumps handlers have evacuated through that festering mouth-hole in his face"?
Only if the thing you find dead on the side of the road is a cow...
