Unwavering opinions regardless of nuance or reality is the edgy stance I’m referring to, but you’re an ml user so you were never stating anything in good faith to begin with.
I always forget lemmy is filled with edge lord reddit refugees and always take things at face value. Oops, my bad.
That’s right, reform is impossible and people are absolutely never allowed to change.
Sorry buddy, your opinions from 10 years ago? Your political stance 80 years ago? That’s who you are. We won’t be taking any rebuttals.
People literally always hate changes to ui. It’s to the point that this article could have been written and just archived somewhere to pull out whenever something changes.
Ah yes!
Students, we must all line up to call your parents before your untimely demise in an orderly fashion. You may only have a few seconds to say your last words each. Timmy, no, you cannot call your grandparents too, we only have one phone and we must be sure every student gets a chance.
Where was it implied otherwise?
Does oxidation result in discoloration? If so, they’re dyed! (/s)
Anti autonomous vehicle sentiment is strange to me. As long as they’re doing better than the average person, I think it’s not a terrible thing.
For reference, I saw 6 different accidents on my drive to work today. It’s a really low bar to clear.

Why waste the brain power when the option exists not to?
Something I don’t often see discussed in these comment sections is how many companies have group purchasing agreements and contracts that supersede the price increases of tariffs.
For example, I work for a Healthcare company who is a part of a group of organizations that have an external company negotiate contracts on their behalf, flexing their power as a group to get better deals.
Goods imported still get taxed, but the prices are supposed to stay the same, but if things get to the point where operational costs completely outweigh breaking contracts, you might see things just… Stop.
Using they when you aren’t specifying is fine and any indication otherwise is just virtue signaling. If someone used they despite knowing I use he/him because they don’t know me well, regardless of whether or not it’s stated, it’s not an insult.
You aren’t much more virtuous for using someone’s preferred gender just as you shouldn’t be demonized for not knowing someone doesn’t use “traditional” gender ideology.
Do it.
Has anyone ever told you that you’re too sensitive?
