  • A solid choice, what really makes him your favourite as opposed to the other games M'aiqs?

  • We love to see the wheels of change turning. It's a first step in what I hope will be a turning point for Canada-EU defence capabilities.

  • I'm not fully up-to-speed on the pivot to the EV mandate, but wonder if it has to do with economic outlook in the wake of trade scuffles with the U.S.? I do think this is just going to be a test of time to see whether the new strategy for increased EV production and adoption will produce better results than strategies we've been following so far.

  • 219-211. That spread makes this vote meaningless, because almost HALF of our former ally's Congress wants this to continue.

  • It's heartbreaking to hear about this. Sincerely hope that the families have the support they need, and my heart goes out to everyone impacted.

  • American Greed - shooting the American economy in the foot since 1776.

  • It makes sense on paper – we need to make every dollar we have count towards building our economy strong enough to resist American economic pressure, and the spaces highlighted are rational partners to pursue for us. I hope that this does show promising returns not just for us, but our new trade partners as we all work to develop new routes of trade.

  • Exactly – this is all about competition against the Ambassador bridge, because it'll impact the profits for them. If they wanted to see profits from the Gordie Howe, they could have stood a little taller and not let themselves get lobbied out of it.

  • Beat the Swiss 4-0 Saturday, and Czechia 5-1 Monday – our women's team looks better than some of our NHL teams out there. It's making me want to start watching the PWHL and pick up a Spectres jersey!

  • They've somewhat fallen into the same trap Valve did with Half Life 3, and nothing they put up will live up to the nostalgia of Skyrim for many players no matter what, as it'll never recapture the magic many of the fanbase felt when they first played it (at least that's my take). It's been overhyped, and people will have some unrealistic expectations no matter what.

I think sidelining the next installment was a misstep on BGS' part, and now they risk alienating the player base of one of their two largest IPs; don't get me wrong, it'll probably sell incredibly well, but I think there's just no way it'll be as well-received as they would want it to be.

On a more positive note though , I hope that whatever they deliver brings improvements rather than downgrades – I want to see a better magic system taking inspiration from competitors and previous installments, a return to NPC schedules (looking at you Starfield 😒), and hopefully prioritizing world-space content over a large open world map. Even if it's more of the same, as long as the story is fun, the NPCs are well-written, and the systems aren't a pain to engage with, it'll live up to my expectations.

  • Oh ABSOLUTELY, those are our tax dollars at work, we need to milk the ROI on it now – and taking traffic from the Ambassador Bridge and cashflow from the Moroun family is just the extra high stick to the face we like to see.

  • You know, alongside the comment about China "eating us up" and leaving them the leftovers sounding like obvious projection, I wouldn't doubt anymore that banning hockey in Canada is something that admin has talked about in their annexation fantasy.

  • Tech amateur here, so pardon my ignorance, but I think we should also be looking not to just cut off Microsoft but also make the painful choice to start migrating to Linux as our primary OS provider. It'll be a learning curve, but the functionality and security opportunities are plentiful in comparison.

  • Honestly, this sounds like a pretty fun way to engage with the game – personally, I can't stick to my own self-defined playthrough rules once I run into these sorts of things, but it sure makes a run memorable.
