  • Ha ha, it's funny reading this immediately after a 4 hour long session of Supermarket Together. Chatting with friends, slacking off, causing mischief (like renaming the store, moving shelves), and being a menace in general - to robbers, innocent customers, employees, or other players.

There's a whole genre of games you're describing. Single and coop. Many are free to play.

  • There's a high chance it wasn't a direct command from a human and the agent did it on it's own.

  • I have a sick setup at home. Plus all the conveniences others mentioned already.

But really, it's being with the family, seeing your kids during the day. I don't want to just come home when they're already asleep.

  • They're big fans. The stories are full of cool names they could use for their companies and projects!

  • Supply might not last long, though. I wouldn't be surprised if theaters pulled it early.

On the other hand they're probably getting paid to show the movie anyway...

  • Legitimate interest, though 🤞

  • The definition I go by:

A robot is any machine that can manipulate or interact with the physical world.

A stricter definition could include "senses" and "decisions", but it doesn't need to be AI. It doesn't even need to be electronic at all.

There are definitely more robots than humans.

  • I got one question as well! A little bit of a background: my wife and I have the same electric toothbrush. My looks pretty much as new, while hers is all crusty and scaly, especially at the charging base.

I came to the conclusion that the only difference in what we do is that I shake twice when I'm done. As a dude, it comes naturally. However, she's never acquired the habit to "shake afterwards" and just puts the wet toothbrush back on the charging base.

So my question is: do you shake the water off before putting the toothbrush away?

And to answer OP: I rinse the toothbrush before putting toothpaste on, she wets it after.

  • Well you'd know if you upgraded a Prusa MK3 and had to print that part. Other than that? I doubt even those who built MK4 from the kit would recognize it.

  • The girl moves just like Daniel Thrasher!

  • I read the entire work of Terry Pratchett under the desk during classes.

  • I already knew how to read when going to the first year of school. My parents were worried I'd be bored during classes, so they convinced the teacher to allow me to bring a book to read for myself when I'm done with any reading work. She probably thought I'd bring some fairy tales, and agreed.

When the class came, I finished the reading exercise and pulled out the book I was allowed to. It wasn't fairy tales though - it was a dinosaur encyclopedia. The teacher got very angry and took the book away, as "it's not an appropriate reading material for a first grader".

I refused to speak with the teacher for the rest of the semester.

  • Wouldn't the constant stream of new gold tank the market value?

  • HueForge, with the FlatForge plugin.

I know it's niche even amond 3D printing enthusiasts, but the results are stellar and always a conversation starter. I've even got the TD1s for Christmas, so I'm looking to up the quality even more.

Don't get me wrong, the software is a horrible unintuitive mess a of a UI with steep learning curve, but there are no alternatives.

  • 1.1.1970 is consistent and easy to remember (at least for nerds like me)

  • Corollary. Not only I can't say it out loud, I can't even form it properly with my inner voice.

  • And FOV axis setting. I hate when there's a limit on X axis FOV slider and it's still not wide enough for SUW
