Russian AD materially speaking is still fine, and sending CAS aircraft into the AD net is asking for them to become Pantsir/Tor fodder. But a lot of people in Russian military leadership are incompetent and/or complacent though, otherwise they would have built proper reinforced hangars for their bombers or actually had point defense systems active at their airbases and not been embarrassed by the UA infiltration drone strikes.

Blowout compartments unfortunately don't work on Soviet style tanks since the ammo is stored in an autoloader in the hull. There are designs for turret bustle autoloaders but I don't think anyone uses them except the French Leclerc.
