Yeah, Ive seen a lot of obvious Nazis, tons of collective blaming on Jewish people rather than Zionists, no real anti-imperialist mental framework at all. The site’s all Palestine, which is still very good, but there needs to be an analysis beyond just ‘Zionism bad’ if they want to understand what they’re fighting. I seriously think you should listen to the Soberania podcast, theres just a lot of bullshit we assume about México because AMLO was boisterous and relatively skittish. Hearing about Cecelia Flores’ injuries made my blood boil while I resisted tears. The more I learn about that couple, the more disgust I have for their abduction and the more I just want to give them a hug. Same with Delcy Rodríguez, her father was killed by motherfuckers the U.S. went out of their way to keep in power, and now she’s getting slammed because of rumors that she’s a traitor, fomented by those same motherfuckers. There’s likely some, maybe a couple on the guard side, but at this point, the indicators ive seen from people like Delcy Rodríguez are showing that most of the cabinet is safe (the foreign minister, VP/oil minister/Acting President, military commanders).
Yeah, the moment I looked up Rodríguez’s history, I knew that claim about cooperation with Trump was bullshit, she has a more solidly ML stance than even Evo Morales or Allende ever did. If she ain’t safe, no one could be. I’m just glad that the country’s in safe hands at the moment, and even if it wasn’t, the cabinet cant fuck up Venezuela on its own. To say my confidence in Venezuela has actually increased would be the understatement of the century. The fact that the nation didnt have far worse effects from this truly astonishes me, though obviously a decapitation strike does little to destroy a state apparatus.

Fuck, this type of shit is why I’m immediately going to be on the side of caution when saying Venezuela just let the U.S. in. Trump came in with a shit ton of flare, that’s what signifies weakness, not strength. If this wasnt just a show, he’d sneak in and sneak out with little commotion, which would do more to cause civil war. The U.S. may be a paper tiger, but it’s a paper tiger with radio jammers that seriously fuck them up no matter how prepared they are.
