This is the male fantasy in a nutshell

I’ve DMed a few DnD campaigns where the party basically turned into a party of John Browns (as in each PC became a slightly different version of John Brown) and each time it made me beam with joy.

“But she’s a 500 year old [dragon/elf/vampire/etc] in human form, it’s fine bro.”

Looks like a child, acts like a child, would be considered a child by their own culture/species: That’s a child bro.

I’d like to say I’ve never had that conversation but I have.

“Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” was fine (though not everyone’s cup of tea) until they started to sexualize the minors (which was basically at the introduction of the child “dragon”). Then I stopped watching it. And from what I hear, I picked a good spot to stop watching as it only got worse from there in regards to the minor characters.

EDIT: I should probably clarify for those that think I support that kind of content, I do not.

Seeding those obscure pieces of media to hella high ratios is always nice, sometimes you’ve just gotta find an old piece of media and that 1 seeder whose been seeding it for 10 years is like a breathe of fresh air

My first seedbox was literally an old office PC (that I got from an electronics recycler) with a chonky HDD in it running Ubuntu and sharing it’s drive on my network. Was it ideal? Hell no lol I literally had an old 10inch LCD screen, keyboard, and mouse that I had to leave hooked up to it as I couldn’t figure out out how to dial into it remotely.

I learned a lot since then but NGL the old setup was so simple I miss it sometimes lol

I’ve literally bought blurays or DVDs in the past just to rip them myself because I couldn’t find a torrent that would finish.

Almost did it last week in fact when I had one stuck at 18% for a week and change, the day I found the bluray and put it in my shopping cart with a 9pm deadline was when it picked back up and finished. I was happy because the bluray was like $70USD before taxes and shipping.

I was literally gonna give it this weekend as a last hold out before giving up, but now that it’s finished I’m gonna leave it on my seedbox until the seedbox dies.
