  • The French Whisperer. "Whisperer" is a bit of a misnomer since he speaks softly instead of actually whispering but he is very French. He covers a pretty wide range of history, mythology, science, and literature/arts. There's a YouTube channel for videos but he uploads audio-only versions on podcast platforms.

  • Your first one or two drinks are to get you drunk. After those wait half an hour for your system to absorb all the alcohol, then take a moment and reassess. Is this comfortable? Do I feel sick? Can I get up and walk around? Am I aware of my surroundings?

If you feel good but noticeably drunk then slow way down, this is when you need to switch from getting drunk to staying drunk. Alternate alcoholic drinks with water to stay hydrated.

  • The inch measurements for men don't account for wider hips/bum so it takes a bit of trial and error to figure out what size to buy. Whenever I buy men's trousers I have to buy them 4 or 6 inches bigger than my own waist and then wear a belt to cinch the excess in. It's kind of a hassle and it's definitely not considered a put-together look by most women so the appeal is limited to the less fashion conscious of us.

  • Princess Weekes for pop culture/media analysis.

F.D Signifier covers a mix of media and current events.

Dr. Caelan Conrad just got their fake-real doctorate from a paranormal university, highly recommended checking that out.

  • I spent 18 years brushing with flavoured toothpaste until I realised "wait, I fucking hate this." Switched to unflavoured and brushing is far more pleasant now.

  • I turn everything inside out because I line dry outside. Since UV bleaches fabric I'd rather fade the inside.

  • On Discord, a chat platform popular with gamers and tech communities, he came across channels dedicated to AI where other single men were exchanging tips about how to prompt ChatGPT to generate effective dating messages. “So, for instance, someone said that if you start a chat with a girl by asking her a list of questions – favourite film, dream holiday, that kind of thing – then paste her answers into ChatGPT, it would craft replies that would make you sound like her perfect match.” It proved effective. “It got me a lot more dates than I was getting before.”

If my spouse snuffs it before I do then I'm dying alone.

  • Doesn't Cubert later figure out that the engines don't move the ship, instead they move the universe while the ship remains stationary?

  • Taskmaster has me howling with laughter every episode.

  • Last time I went I could only choose between local radio stations. Unfortunately I spent the last 5 minutes listening to a news report about a murder victim being found in a ditch near the hospital. I think I'll pick silence next time.

  • The Forme of Cury, a cookbook published in 1390, mentions almond milk. There's no "trying", we've been referring to non-dairy milk as milk (Middle English: mylke) for at least 650 years.

  • My old boss was a huge man who went around in a little yellow convertible. We called him Noddy.

May I suggest calling him Fireman Sam?

  • Does anyone know if she personally has done anything that indicates bigotry or prejudice towards trans people or Jewish people or anyone being genocided or tortured?

Getting into bed with the world's most famous bigot doesn't exactly bode well with regard to her moral character.

She's not a smol bean, she's a grown adult who made her own choices. As a businesswoman she should've spotted the glass cliff from a mile away, instead she gave in to greed and willingly walked over the edge because she thought she was the exception. Painting her as a modern-day suffragette seems a bit tone deaf.

  • They're on a crusade against insulin pumps because their friend's disordered eating habits were triggered by weight gain from an insuline pump. This ignores the fact that people without insuline pumps also develop eating disorders, diabulimia has been a thing for decades.

  • Oh FFS this isn't the benzene thing again, is it? Benzene is a trace contaminant in everything from the air you breathe to the water you drink. The highest number Valisure came up with was 6 ppm in a sunscreen sample, that's 0.0006%. Even if you decided to inject the whole bottle of sunscreen directly into your veins it would be a fraction of your total exposure for the day.

Using people's fear of cancer to scare them away from effective cancer prevention measures is fucking shameful, do better.

  • As a ginger- the petrol money to go shop in Germany at DM or Rossmann is cheaper than the ginger tax here.

  • I had my reduction 10 years ago but I can still vividly remember the underboob sweat.
