  • Create a national jobs force/program, like the old Civilian Conservation Corps. Which can be organized and deployed to various US infrastructure projects, like building high speed rail. Offer some universal basic income along with their jobs. And offer housing as well.

  • Push to decentralize, that is to push users from more popular instances to less popular ones, would be good then I guess.

  • Notice how the words "American Workers" is written in small lettering. Small enough that some may not even be able to read it from afar, while FIRST is in all caps. Then take into account orange man being on top of the text. Subliminally trying to instill in people that "Trump is first"?

  • Tbh, I don't know why a push by more left leaning sites hasn't happened? This would at the very least show the broader unpopularity of the age verification law among pretty much both sides.

  • Shit, might as well get a bag from this administration.

  • KEK! ABSOLUTE CINEMA!

  • Tbh, I do agree with him that we shouldn't dehumanize. Fascists are humans, who deserve to be put down. There. Easy. No dehumanization, and you can still say that they deserve bullets blowing their brains out the back their heads.

  • Monero is good, but is currently facing troubles of their own with potential 51% attacks.

  • I mean...I wouldn't mind a physical card if it looked cool and shit.

  • I would just like to state that most Americans have no idea what the difference between a liberal and leftist is. When you say you're a liberal, they think you're a leftist. When you say you're a leftist, they think you're a leftist. The conflation will always be there, given the history of the US and decades of the usage of the conflation in everyday American language.

Edit Addendum: it doesn't help that liberals/democratic establishment are somewhat more """"""""""left"""""""""" of the conservatives/Republicans, which is why liberals are grouped with the "left" in the US. It also doesn't help that the "left", who would be more accurately known as that grouping of socialists, communists, anarchists, and every other small or large anti-capitalist and or progressive political identity group, just call themselves "the left" or "leftist", playing into the idea that one's politics can be quickly understood by pointing to the linear spectrum of "right" and "left", as if these broad and false dichotomies fit reality to a tee or some shit.

  • The guy should spend the money to get some alterations done at a tailor.

  • Didn't the words moron and imbecile follow along a similar line of etymological evolution that the r-word went through? Yet imbecile and moron are considered acceptable offensive words to use. To be honest it's why I don't really care that much about the r-word itself.

  • Isn't the "for-profit" Mozilla Corporation owned by the "non-profit" Mozilla Foundation though?

  • Yeah "family friendly" = advertisable.

  • First they came for the Yaoi

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Fujoshi

Then they came for the Porn

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Gooner

Then they came for the Games

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Gamer

Then they came for the Anime

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Otaku

    Then they came for me

And there was no one left

    To speak out for me

  • Political cartoons are typically like this. The one you're replying to is a really old one I think.

  • I mean. A social database I feel is toxic in of itself. It's makes forgiveness harder, it makes changing yourself harder. What's the point in changing if people are gonna look you up in a database like this and perhaps forevermore treat you as if you are like that in the present day, forever. It assumes that humans are unchanging, that once a shitty person always a shitty person.

  • Alright Datahoarders...get on it!
