  • Tbh, I think it's mainly because how the Nazis took power was never heavily taught to us Americans here in the states. I myself only learned about the Beer Hall Putsch far into my adulthood.

  • Ehh a lot of it is just natural progression and evolution of the English language, others is regional dialects or small tow ways of saying things reaching mainstream through music.

  • My guess is that they can slowly regrow lost enamel under fillings, slowly build back up later by layer until a filling is no longer needed. What would be amazing is a cure for gum disease.

  • 6-7 or 10-67 is a police code often in reference to report a dead body.

  • Did they vote for Trump because he was the centrist position? Did pandering towards center work for Kamala? Is "spending more time talking about trans girls playing sports" really what Schmoo meant when he was talking about progressive/left economic populism? People like Zohran seem very popular right now. They aren't centrist.

  • My conspiracy is that people are trying to ramp up enough of a campaign to defederate from .ml, not knowing it's history on Lemmy and how most .ml users are actually quite chill and actually genuine people once you get to know them. I mean Jesus Christ guys, .ml users arent all bots.

  • Well I think it would be cool to be able to fix/edit any inaccurate articles, or pages that may have been messed with by trolls, or to update with more up to date info.

  • I believe kiwix uses zim files.

  • I wonder if there's anyways to edit these files afterwards? They tend to be read only, right? I must confess, I don't have too much experience with this myself.

  • Waffles? What's this geometric breakfast grid?Where's happy floppy shapes? Where's bubbly dadaisms on my plate?

  • Art classes can introduce you to new techniques that you wouldn't have otherwise pursued and elevate your art to greater heights. Depending on the school, it also helps with networking. Lotsa famous animators at places like CalArts, Sheridan, Gobelins, etc.

  • I often hear AI enthusiasts say that AI democratized art. As if art weren't already democratized. Most anyone can pick up a pen, draw, write, type, move a mouse, etc. What AI democratizes in art, is the perception of skill. Which is why when you find out a piece of art was made by inputting some short prompt into a generator, you become disappointed. Because it would be cool, if the person actually had the skill to draw that. Pushing a few buttons to get that, not so much.

    Edit:spelling and spacing

  • I recommend magic mushrooms.

  • The real question is where it's going on?

  • My guess is that it might be a legitimate designation that just needs work on. Note: Trans people and Trans Advocacy should not be considered or placed under such a list of terrorist orgs. When online misanthropic extremist groups(usually neonazi), like "No Lives Matter", Order of Nine Angles(as in geometry angles not angels), and "764" exist, I feel like a new designation should exist.

  • We also have to ask ourselves why no one liked them. Some of it can be attributed to sexism and or racism, yes. But I think we can attribute a lot of the unpopularity of those candidates to their lack of charisma, weak seeming positions and advocacy on progressive points of interest (such as Gaza, the Palestinians, border climate change, etc), and what seemed like stupid meddling and sabotage by the consultant class.
