  • @alongtheroad it would be an interesting business case to read. This of course makes several assumptions about there being a business case, that the BC is scrutinised by people who can objectively read BCs, that the BC authors can write BCs.. OK, I admit to taking the view that intelligence (both cognitive intent and data driven Intel) are lacking.

  • What alternatives to AdGuard do y'all recommend for blocking ads AND trackers?

  • @somerandomperson For Android, the best I found is RethinkDNS with firewall

    1. Select your preferred DNS blocklists
    2. Block ALL apps using data including system apps
    3. Set Firewall to block all Apps when not in use.
    4. Select apps that CAN access data
    5. Select apps that bypass firewall rules i.e. emails etc. This allows background data to keep you up to speed.

    There is far more to each of the points Read read read then go. Anything can be rolled back in settings if any anything breaks

  • Microsoft pushes staff to use internal AI tools more, and may consider this in reviews. 'Using AI is no longer optional.'

  • @TehPers @SuperSpruce Yeah, that's how i switched. Just booted into Windows less and less. Then realised just how terrible it was for boot up time, shut down time, use, etc.

  • China’s government has announced that people will require IDs to go on the internet. For now this is voluntary, but there are signs it will not remain that way for long.

  • @LavaPlanet @LEONARDE11 I switched a few times. With Tutanota. It's good and does what I need. I like it so much have gone from the free plan to the paid plan. My advice is if you're not sure, just switch.
