  • TBH if you attend 5 years at uni and don't catch on how few professors there are to literally everyone else at the university perhaps your reasoning skills are not that great.

    I mean I did 5 years with a master in thermodynamics (physical chemistry) and my section had 20 offices. Three had a professor in them.

  • Well. Problem with small nations with a distinct language (I am Norwegian, and written Norwegian and Danish is basically dialects of the same language. Personally I hate reading danish and enjoy swedish. Think I am a massive outlier) is that you never get any volume. In all the Scandinavian countries large part of the population is pretty much fluent in English (guess the reading population skew even higher) so you have the added competition of English language books as well.

  • Norway doesn't have VAT on books. Even if you buy from outside the borders in different languages there is no VAT. Can't speak for others but for me it sure make me buy more books.

  • The reason might be because they pushed the new model Y with a zero down payment, zero interest at start loan. Norway has experienced higher inflation and interests rates than Sweden and coupled with NOK being a volatile currency experiencing a pretty severe devaluation that option seems good right now.

    And Tesla as had a high star for years in Norway being among the most mature EV markets. Tesla was early into the Norwegian market.

  • I think its slightly different because you are not forced into the loyalty programs. You can still buy fuel with a card at the pump without registration. With the app you can't use the charger without registration.

    See that CircleK has simple cars options on 90% of their stations, and that several others are updating their chargers with card payment option.

  • This is because someone can't be arsed to make a dedicated Norwegian/Swedish/Danish keyboard. Norway and Denmark uses æ/ø/å. But ofc not the same key position. Sweden ä/ö/å. The same goes for several of the other keys. What they type depends on language used
