  • I have a 2 year old so what I find time to see is quite limited. Perhaps my opinion is a result of watching TV-shows adapted from books (Slow Horses), reality (Clarkson's Farm) and crime/thrillers with a "monster of the week" structure, but with a slight narrative over a season (criminal minds)

  • Not makeup but permanent ink....

  • I hardly watch movies anymore since I find the format limited compared to TV shows.

Last TV show - Slow Horses season 4

Last original movie in a movie theater was probably the Pokemon Movie.

Last movie in a movie theater was Dune part one. (Which for one was a hell of a good remake tbh)

  • The maximum sentence is 21 years of "forvaring" that translates to 'keeping" it's not a regular prison sentence as it can be prolonged indefinatly. It's for the worst offenders that are a danger to others as long as they have not improved during the sentence. Usually all prison sentences will include increasing length of leaves. Few hours with guards at first, then with half way house personell and in the end weekends and weeks alone. Breivik had had none so far, and is the only one who have little or no contact with other inmates.

  • In Norway they are sold as fast food and are called rollerburger

  • I don't believe for one second that these "muslim leaders" care one iota about Palestine or Gaza. They care about the money Orange promised them. This is just posturing and fake outrage to cover their ass.

  • I am doing my part. Don't really know what I am doing, just happy to br a part of it.

Edit. Is this normal? Just presse at random

  • Pretty much any fruit flavoured food that is not artificial will contain sugar from the fruit juice. But most companies add sugar anyway.

  • I am semi-literate in "computers". That means I can build my own PC, do no coding, but manage to troubleshoot most things by sheer stubborness, search and the odd question on a "forum" In other words not afraid of tech.

I can't be bothered to sift through endless overengineered BS for a PC to do the few things I need it to do these days. Web browser, Steam and streaming, while not scraping every ounce of personal data and sending it to various entities for nefarious purposes. I have Mint, it works out of the box and I don't have to tinker with it, but enough customizability if I want to.

  • Can't remember the details, but an art teacher discovers that a student is selling erotic art on Patreon earning more than the teacher...

  • I have read voraciously all my life. Audiobooks ruined it somewhat, but with a 2 year old I have been adamant that he sees dad with a book, not a phone or e-reader.

I have tried the classics numerous times, but I find them mind numbingly boring. Homer, Tolstoy, Ibsen are so dreary. Better some good fantasy by Pratchett or Gaiman. Found the Slow Horses series to be enjoyable. If you want more classic action perhaps the Musceteer-books by Duma or Sherlock Holmes by Doyle. (Personally very fond of the closed room mysteries by John Dickson Carr

  • I stopped using Opera the second it wasn't Norwegian. I use Librewolf on desktop, Waterfox on mobile and Vivaldi as the "clean" browser when something k. Waterfox/Librewolf fucks up an important webpage I have to use

  • Dont understand why you get downvoted, as I assume you mean that the generals were not strategical and tactical terrible. Think most historians will agree that Hitlers direct involvement in the war was a growing issue in conducting the war. Also Hitler stayed in power by making sure that the levels below him were at each others throats and not able to challenge him directly. Nazi Germany was not technically on a war economy until Speer took over, and the amount of corruption was immens.

  • The bad hunter who misses all the shots and buys the fowl in the market

  • They slammed a frigate into an oil tanker in Norway. Oil tanker was being tugged and cant really manouver in a meaningful way, but the warship somehow didn't see it in the dark. Turns out modern frigates are more floating radar/weapon platforms and very very brittle

  • How could it have been worse. A fucking basic appliance was hijacked. Ofc its not weaponized, that would have made it worse I guess
