I don’t think you got the central point. Protestants exist to protest Catholicism. A Protestant that recognises catholics as Christian’s wouldn’t be a Protestant.

Different sects of Protestantism are able to recognise other sects as Christian’s because a central tentant of Protestant practice is the personal relationship with God. So different sects of Protestants find that easier to accept. Where as Catholics practice a relationship with God that is tied to the organisation and the Pope.

Mormons are arguably a different religion altogether. Similar to how Jewish/Christian/Islam all share similar but different religious texts making them all different religions.

    The intended outcome is othering.

You misunderstand reasonable. It does not mean good, more the natural conclusion given the context.

It’s not ridiculous for Protestants to say catholics aren’t Christian. Protestant movements came about because they believed the Catholic Church wasn’t teaching the word of God. It’s not a coincidence it came about at a similar time to the printing press.

As people became more literate they started to learn the contradictions between the priests and the bible. The reaction to this resulted in movements that preached personal relationships with God and rejection of false profits (worshiping popes, saints etc).

If your not aligned with either of these religions is seems ridiculous. The reality is you can’t think Protestantism is the correct path if you believe Catholics are Christians. This is the same for many religions, they mostly claim they are right and everyone else is wrong.

  • Swiftfin is the official Apple TV jellyfin app. Swiftfin is great on iOS, but hasn’t been updated on Apple TV for a while. It also lacks a lot of polish and features but it is being worked on. There should be an update soon.

I’ve been using infuse on Apple TV. Infuse isn’t open source and needs a subscription to watch most 4k hdr content. I think it’s worth it if Swiftfin gets an update soon.

Apple TV is definitely a better experience compared to Samsung and Android. Apps are nicer and there isn’t any ads, privacy controls and privacy statements are much better. Recommended content can also be disabled and only shows when your hovering over the relevant app.

  • You already need to have a reason to carry around a large blade. Anything over pocket/eating size. Someone with a kebab knife would have to be selling, gifting, repairing or travelling from or to a kebab place.

With these swords, collecting them is a good reason that would make it difficult to prosecute someone carrying it as a weapon. Banning them means the person carrying them is without doubt a criminal, because they are now illegal.

Most people committing knife crimes don’t have a profession (that they would tell police about) that requires large blades.

  • It’s difficult to get anything to work on android tv when you don’t sign and don’t enable all the google shit. Even then the privacy statement is still bend over or your tv doesn’t boot past this screen.

    The Apple TV much better.

It may be better than current android tv because the shield is so old and not been updated in so long.

Apple TV doesn’t have ads only what’s on when you have the app icon selected. Except inside apps that have ads.
