I never liked his books. Just kept trying and trying to get into them, seemed like everyone was reading Sandman and American gods and I was just struggling to finish Neverwhere. Like there was something just...wrong about it. Now I'm thinking I saw something under those words he wrote. Something I didn't like.
And it goes bad faster. I travel for work so I really struggle to buy the right amount of fresh food so I won't be throwing stuff away when I get back.
Right now, climate change. This planet was a paradise and we ruined it for ourselves. I don't think we have very long before ecosystems just start breaking down in massive ways.
Sometimes I just want to go back to bed, and never leave it again. No more going to work, no more grocery shopping, no more chores, just me laying in my bed cozy and warm.
I believe Trump means what he says about the tariffs. I have been buying like crazy, trying to make sure I have new work clothes, shoes and some consumables going forward. Things like dish soap, detergent and the like. I don't know what else to do except insulate myself as much as possible.
I just ordered a new AC after the last unit crapped out. In November. My heating is off and I am still wearing my light summer clothes. It used to be into the negatives this time of year and now it's T shirt weather. Normally we'd have a couple inches of snow by now, instead we don't even really get rain anymore. I don't think we can come back from this.
If we could all stop using wrenches on the wing nut wings and snapping them off that would be great. Either get the wing nuts with the wrench base or hand tighten only!
