  • Iran can claim self defence but they also knew what they were doing and expected they’d be attacked for this one day. Its a miscalculation on their part.

Its not fair but nuclear powers play by different rules and Iran getting nukes is to great of a threat to isreal and others.

Isreal is unhinged, PR be damned they are out for blood . Seeking to destroy all their enemies in a single war and their intel effectiveness is scary.

Justification doesnt matter, at the end of the day the nations will do what’s in their interest unless constrained. The UN doesnt have enough power to constrain countries especially when the us is providing cover.

No one cares enough to step in so let them fight. I’m hoping for regime change in Iran.

  • Yes nuclear powers ensure their security by threatening to use nukes this is known and not some big revelation. Its why they are so reluctant to let others join that club.

The conversation is about Isreal. I am obviously talking from the perspective of isreal who do not considers themselves a terrorist threat.

  • A big problem with the data collection is how hidden and one sided it is. On here its out in the open, we say how it works and the data is available for anyone. On Facebook its hidden for users to speculate on what’s being collected and only Facebook and the people they sell it to have access.

Data is very useful for making cool tools that enhance user experience and it can also be dangerous. I think the fediverse is privacy conscious enough to find the right balance.

Personally i dont think we’ve found it and need to do more to preserve privacy.
