Hello! That's my main mbin account, my alt is @Fitik, I also have a furry/personal account at @fitik

I'm just a regular person from Israel🇮🇱, a queer, and a #Fediverse enthusiast! I'm a liberal

I don't post much stuff, but when I do I usually post about #tech because I've mostly given up on trying to argue politics on there

  • And that's why I like Bridgy Fed, I don't really like BlueSky neither (except nuclear block), but thanks to the bridge I can still interact with my friends from my Fediverse accounts, something that wouldn't be possible with Twitter for example

  • I prefer Misskey (Misskey fork at least) because it's just much more feature rich, Mastodon doesn't even have quotes, on the other hand Misskey has a lot of cool stuff like markdown, more customization, avatar decorations, emoji reactions etc But to each their own, from minuses Misskey has it's own API so the variety of apps is smaller compared to Mastodon

  • Just tried to register an account for Loops (there are 1000 videos available according to the fediverse report), no email received so far, have other people encountered the same issue?

  • I've Loops and can use it, I was in the wait-list and I got an email letting me reset password(3 days ago), and with this new password I was able to log into the Loops apk and website

    CherryPick is developed in Japan. I wouldn't count on any of the devs, much less all of them, being fluent in English or anything else that isn't Japanese

    My main instance runs on CherryPick ( https://kitty.social ), CherryPick is pretty much developed by one dev NoriDev, they have a discord server and they speaks English, also they're Korean, not Japanese

    It's also one of the oldest Misskey forks as it exists from 2021 (Sharkey was forked in 2023 if I'm not mistaken)

  • I use TikTok (around a hour a day) and use the Fediverse too(Mbin and Misskey fork), so I guess I am a target audience, so they do touch, pfft

    Also there's Pixelfed userbase, I think they would like short form video platform, cause Instagram has it
