Not much to add, other than I too am another person who sees the current affairs as the destruction, dismantling and sabotage of America as a country. I am not confident the country will make it to the end of this presidential term without splintering.
Part of me thinks life is gonna get really hard but some other part is more optimistic, thinking the fracturing of the states will lead to better lives for people, far far down the line. You gotta burn the old growth so the new can flourish. I wish we could just improve what we have now but it seems impossible to make progress with the current, very corrupted system.
The amount of time that corporations feel entitled to is ridiculous. I've quit my last two positions because these billion dollar companies feel that they own you for every second when you're on the clock. It feels exploitative and gives you the sense that you're just some beast of burden.
We're humans, not machines to push production to the maximum. But all the higher-ups see is bottom line pushers.
No way. He's got smart people with him. They know exactly what this is gonna entail. They're speed running the fall of America now. They're blitzing it asap before a resistance can form.
They straight up live in a fantasy. Replies I saw were: "the price isn't going up, he is keeping the price the same but to get them lower he needs to cancel budens order" 🙄
People like this are just primed to make up their own reality. Rather than face the truth that he has a (probably) shitty job, his mind instead translates it to: "those people are lazy, I'm a hard worker. I'm working a holiday because I'm a tough man and can handle it"
"hey guys social media manager here. It was all my fault. It's not our CEOs fault, at all. Just mine. Who am I? Well I can say my name definitely doesn't start with an A and end in a Y. Just little ol' faceless nameless me. Tee hee sorry."
I don't see how any government functions after the first few days. By that time, everyone knows they're looping. So why go work? Maybe a small percent will but a vast majority of people will just do their own thing. No need to worry about job security when you'll wake up tomorrow with the same amount of money.
Personally, I think the world would probably be very pleasant if we all looped. No one would be able to take anything from you, since you'd get it right back the next day. Might just be boring after a couple thousand loops, as no new movies, games or news would be able to be produced.
