How about getting rid of casual Snow Day. I got on a year or so ago and you couldn’t even play Snow Day as they moved it to some rotating schedule where it was swapped out every other month with some other game mode. Who does shit like that?

The only drawback here is that the og pro controller will not turn on the Switch 2 using the home button.

A whole lot of negative replies about the Switch2, but for me it was a matter of timing. My og switch battery is failing, and I wanted to be able to play handheld or on the go again without having a huge battery pack strapped to it. So I picked up a Switch 2. I might even try attempting to replace the Switch battery now that I have a fully portable console again.

I don’t like that you cannot turn on the Switch 2 using the Home button on a original Pro Controller. That does piss me off quite a bit because I am not shelling out the cash for a Pro Controller 2. Other than that I do like the new speed with which it can play games.

I had two giant servers sitting under my desk when bitcoin started up. I was trying to decide whether to put them to work mining bitcoin or using them for seti at home. Well I decided to go with seti. And I am actually complacent with that decision, because had I got into bitcoin I know that I would have some sort of anxiety over when I sold, or what I paid for something like a pizza. Gotcha. Well, I guess being an old guy and having never correlated someone’s computer background to any kind of meaning other than they like that particular background, I guess I don’t see anything into it. But hey, I work with a bunch of terminals all day long so there’s not an opportunity to customize things there, and the one work machine that has a gui, I have just left the background as the default. That is a rule of mine, nothing personal on the work laptop.

I am not taking sides with this comment, but you could literally swap names of everything you just posted with (the opposite candidate) and there is someone saying this exact same thing somewhere on the internet. They are most likely sitting there posting about where all the Harris people went and how they moved to a saner platform to avoid toxic people… Everyone needs to remember that there is someone out there with a polar opposite viewpoint as you and it’s just as strong as yours. The internet and social media has made it much easier for everyone to wall themselves off into groups containing people with only their viewpoint. And now all of that has been fed to LLMs. This is going to be an interesting future we are walking into.
