I get what you're saying but saying "both sides are the same" is just sort of lazy/sloppy analysis.
A more accurate approximation is far older, something like: "we're seeing 1/3 of the country attempt to kill another 1/3 of the country while another 1/3 watches."
And you're right this is due to scapegoating by the wealthy but if a third of the country didn't want to murder another third of the country then the wealthy would not find it nearly as easy to divide us.
Just destroying their wealth wont fix anything at this point. You also have to destroy a media system they spent about 70 years and two generations building or we will simply find ourselves in the same spot very shortly
I mean you're forgetting that like ACORN was laser targetted because of a salaciously editted video by republican media. This law was likely intended to combat higher voting overall and hurt organizations dedicated to helping improve turnout.
Hence the slap on the wrist for the organization run by a republican donor to enroll likely republican voters. Lax enforcement of law for the rich guys at the top, harsher brutal enforcement for the teeming masses they detest. Its a classic rules don't apply to team fash situation.

Edit: The education of women has been linked to delayed fertility. Which is less of a problem than like 16 hour work days, surveillance systems, dna paternity tests, tv, games, etc.

I would go on a step further and say, we should remember some norms suck and we should be asking candidates if they will prosecute previous administrations and what for.
Like the norm of not prosecuting presidents is possibly the most destructive and vile norm and has lead exclusively to terrible outcomes, from the contras, to jan 6th, to the Iraq war, to epstein secrecy.
Like they released the JFK files after JFK was killed? Or how they arrested arrested Reagan for illegally selling arms to Iran to fund death squads in the americas? Idk man there's a long history of presidents just sitting on this kind of shit and Biden is not exactly brave.
