  • Where is his memorial urinal?

(Seriously, by all accounts nobody is sure they buried him at all, perhaps more of a mystery than who shot JFK)

  • Tell me his parent(s) will go to jail.

  • I think setting to "rat detected" would be better.

  • Women tend to also process visuals differently. I do think I've seen data that show men's eyes tend to be more sensitive to movement while women tend to have better color recognition on average. Movement is often also detectable in the periphery.

So when women look at dark areas they may see more things there in color, this may create a sort of feedback loop for night time visual behavior in addition to obvious sociological concerns.

The way to test for a visual feedback loop would probably be to evaluate night time driving (or other safer conditions) differences to see if women tend to look more at low light areas.

Alternately you could put men and women out in the woods and see if their behavior aligns.

  • The last couple mastodon updates made it easier to access the trending feed (which afaik has existed since 2021) and added features like quote posts. Bluesky starter packs and custom shareable feeds are definitely its major perks.

The odds though bluesky will get bought up by right wing billionaires in the next 10 years is almost 100% unless there's a major change in media management laws so don't get too attached to bluesky since there is like a nonzero chance trump jr buys it with his crypto bribes.

  • Hell yeah I'll follow them on masto

  • Vegans are just voicing their truth. This "practical solutions" nonsense is just moving goal posts.

Vegan diets are perfectly sustainable for most people and eating large amounts of terrestrial mammals (as opposed to fish and bugs) is maybe a historically newer phenomena than we'd like to think, especially on a culture by culture basis (japan for instance has mostly subsisted on vegetables and seafood, as have most coastal cities historically)

The idea people have to beef every day or whatever is partly a product of beef industry marketing and corporate culture. Culture at least changes. Look what the tomatoes from the americas did to italian cuisine decades after it was imported.

  • This would be iterative engineering design.

  • It appears as of 2021, you are correct. I still suspect funny business going on but I think you're right about the taxes.

Edit: I do think that corporations are able to write off fees and services associated with collecting the donations such as technical and administrative costs though its likely very small in comparison to actual donations.

More likely the donations help with employee and customer retention/morale.

  • This is good joke! Very funny that nobody has killed these people! L O L

  • Cashew based cheeses can replace a lot of cheese sauces. I've successfully used mustard based sauces creatively to substitute for things like macaroni but imo for pizza I would just go with cheeseless options.

Tomatoes and kalamata olives can do a lot on their own. If i had a research facility I'd start with tofu and natto and try to get fermentation strains that worked on like pinto beans.

  • Then you're probably reselling some shit and passed those prices on to a customer.

  • Its only been a year and we're at billions in illegal taxes to be returned.

  • If only there was like a deck of cards with their faces on it.

  • I mean my favorite JFK theory is that that JFK got shot when the secret service car slammed on the brakes after Oswald opened fire on the governor of texas.

The funniest possible way for trump to die is his own secret service blasting him while trying to take down a perp.

  • You cannot wield it. It answers to the enemy alone. It has no other master.

  • I've been given the "corporations should be able to run their business how they want and government shouldn't ban things like they banned weed" too many times on lemmy.

We should ban for profit corporations from doing certain things, this is one of them. We know they're using the money as a tax writeoff. Ban this shit. Not everything is drugs.

Edit: looks like afaik its not tax deductible for corporations to do this though I would not put it past a small business or local manager to try it. I would prefer other methods for charitable donations other than how well they negotiate with box stores, etc.

  • Losing control of a vehicle is suspicious because it lines up with a remote lockdown backdoor like tesla uses on vehicles who it suspects of breaking contract.

If he had been on his phone or having a medical attack that's actually more understandable. But yeah a drive through texas after bar hours is also maybe a shit situation. Its just more suspicious when the entity he's witnessing against has been willing to use illegal force and has the means to do so.
