It’s good that they do this, but is it possible to identify most clothing from Shein?

And let’s get their products and services out of our countries.

“If you respect a partner, you discuss and negotiate with a partner. You don’t pressure, you don’t threaten.” - Imagine an Israeli representative said this with a straight face. Unhinged. EU must cut all ties with Israel until the holocaust has stopped

for some years. They have way too much influence in the EU.

I’m going to miss him. I hope he stays vocal after the presidency.
Alan Partridge voice: “Back of the net”.
Yeah, the complaints seem fairly juvenile. There are more consequential things in life to be outraged over.

Ahh, I see now. I appreciate that very much, thank you again!

Interesting. I like that music. It’s a little different. The only way I think attribution can really work on their system is if I record myself announcing the tracks. I’m not sure how I feel about that though. I’ll be listening myself anyway, thanks again.

Thank you so much, Jamendo looks ideal! I’ve been downloading from Pixabay, but with Jamendo I could possible create an account for them and gradually add songs to it as I find ones that suit.
Edit: I just see that a subscription is actually paid. The institution in question won’t cover that but I’ll mention it because management might reconsider when there’s a good offer like this that ticks all the boxes.

Maybe they had answered :)

I like radio garden. But it’s not permitted to play radio in a commercial setting that has visiting public. It counts as a public performance and requires a license.

Yes, the staff and clientele would both like music. It’s not a shop as such, but a set of services. They used to have music in the past until they were alerted to the need for both a commercial license and a public performance license. So due to the budget set by senior powers, the music was dropped. They’re trying to change that now.

Their terms don’t allow public performances, unfortunately. But I really enjoyed what I heard there so I’ll be keeping a tab open for myself. Thank you :)

That’s great, thank you. The clientele here are on the younger side but I will personally get great use out of that list :)
Edit: actually, there are some great songs there for any age group. I’ll definitely include some in the play list. Thanks again!

I was surprised to learn that these initiatives actually sometimes generate more money for the economy than it costs to fund them. I’m glad it’s continuing. It will be interesting to see how far they can take it.

Good question. I don’t think so, because Loops is more like Mastodon (user centered) rather than Lemmy (interest centered).
Dansup posted the details here https://blog.joinloops.org/loops-joins-the-fediverse/
I never understood how Lemmy <-> Mastodon integration works. But I know that people who follow me on Mastodon got posts on Mastodon by “me” that mirrored my posts on Lemmy.

I haven’t laughed so much at a comedy in years!
That’s a good idea. I see they have a web interface now too at loops.video so getting the URL is easy.
