Basically a deer with a human face. Despite probably being some sort of magical nature spirit, his interests are primarily in technology and politics and science fiction.

Spent many years on Reddit before joining the Threadiverse as well.

  • At some point medicine doesn't help. Trump is well past that point now.

  • Surely all of these problems would go away if teenagers would simply act rationally and do as they're told. Has anyone tried explaining this to the teenagers?

  • "I regret that so many people are offended."

  • If this was fiction I'd be complaining about how on-the-nose it was.

  • Had a whole civil war over it and still didn't get rid of slavery.

  • Smaller populations make it easier to form social bubbles, I suppose. And this community in particular is focused on not liking something, so it's easy to throw out a quick "ooh, I hate thing!" To get some positive engagement.

  • I seriously doubt that any institutional or otherwise large-scale investors would have reacted to that. It has absolutely no impact on Bitcoin in practical terms.

  • Username checks out.

  • What I'm pointing out is that this target audience of AI haters is actually the whole gaming community.

Where do you get that from?

  • They titled it with the objective of getting clicks. OP chose to post it here with the objective of getting upvotes. Same basic goal.

  • And Trump isn't repulsive?

  • They have yet to earn it.

  • And remember: if you're not running her on your own hardware she's not an AI girlfriend. She's an AI prostitute.

  • Some people are convinced that immortality is terrible. They've fallen into the cult of the Dragon-Tyrant, IMO.

  • We know a few. "Fire", for example. And "Axe". The inventions named after them are still in use to this day.

  • According to “The Evolving Ecosystem”, a recent Connected Intelligence® report from Circana, LLC, 86% of U.S. consumers 18+ are aware of AI in smartphones and other technology devices

    [...]

Of consumers who are aware of AI, 65% are interested in AI features coming to at least one of the device types studied — most commonly the smartphone. This figure rises to 82% of consumers between ages 18 and 24 and steadily declines among older groups.

So, an alternative headline that would be just as truthful: "A majority of US consumers are interested in AI features coming to their devices."

That's not going to get the upvotes here, though.

  • I just gave it a spin and it was everything I was looking for, this is fantastic. Funny how these things can slip through searches and then just pop out of nowhere from an unexpected discussion thread like this.

  • Huh, a couple of days ago I was googling all over the place for something like this and it didn't come up. I didn't think my google-fu was that weak. Definitely going to try this out now.
