Same, I'll bum a smoke off someone occasionally if I'm drinking and while I do enjoy it in the moment I hate the way the smell clings to my facial hair. It definitely helps keep me away from smoking more often (as well as cost, health impacts, etc)
Depends on how much time I have and how much effort I'm willing to put in. Some sample breakfasts (CW animal products)
Eggs and toast, quick and easy, just have to wash one pan
Just toast, even quicker and easier, no pan to wash, can top with butter, jam, peanut butter, honey, or pretty much anything else you want on toast. I prefer something with protein like peanut butter to keep me feeling full till lunch
Smoothie, my go-to is banana, yogurt, peanut butter, oats, and as much spinach as you want/can cram in there. Blend and use milk to achieve desired consistency. This could probably be made vegan by swapping the yogurt and milk out. Easy to make but means you have to wash a blender
Porridge, I like to add peanut butter and honey but there are plenty of ways to dress it up. You can even buy individual packets that you can make in the microwave or with boiling water
Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a terrorist will get shot, or a wedding of muslims will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all "part of the plan". But when I say that one little old white person will die, well then everyone loses their minds.
The american civil war didn't even end slavery in America. It's still legal to this day, you just need to be convicted of something first then it's all fair game
There was, it's called 60+ uninterrupted years of anti-soviet/anti-russian propaganda that touched every facet of people's lives. Entire generations raised from birth to believe the evil ruskies were chomping at the bit to destroy your freedom and way of life. Anyone in America (don't forget the rest of the West) born after WW2 grew up submerged in a swamp of russophobia
Taste is subjective, it's the same with all sorts of things. It's like coffee, some people hate the taste, some people will only drink it with milk/cream/sugar, and some people like the taste of coffee all on its own. What tastes delicious to one person can be disgusting to another, both are correct.
Edit: people can even have preferences within categories of drinks. Sticking with the coffee example, I don't like darker roasts because they just taste burnt to me, but medium/light roasts have a better flavour. It's similar with beer, personally I'm not a fan of domestic beers like Coors/bud/Molson but there are other beers that are pretty tasty, but again it's to each their own
Absolutely, if you go with a more realistic estimate (500,000+ people killed) that's the equivalent of Israel commiting dozens of Bondi Beaches (40+) every single day since October 7, 2023.
Studying the history/archaeology of the Americas is so depressing and infuriating. It's just picking through the remains of a continent spanning genocide and trying to recover what you can.
I'm reading a paper on mobility and the use of travois and some of the major sources they use come from accounts given by American troops after they've finished murdering indigenous villages and watching the survivors trying to escape.
Another article mentioned various artforms that are no longer practiced due to the "interruption of the tradition" when they were forced from their homelands and onto reserves.
It's just all so fucking bleak. America (and Canada let's not let them off easy) really is just Nazi Germany if they succeeded in their goals
"sure we had a monument to Nazi officers that we had children honour and lay wreaths upon but we would never indoctrinate our children into worshipping Nazi leaders! Now excuse me, I have to head back to the Franz Augsberger Memorial Summer Camp"
