I don't think America would need to take military action to take Greenland, at least not in the sense that there would be armed resistance. What's to stop them from landing a few planes of troops and saying "it's ours now fuck off"?

shit, I remember when the collateral murder video came out and naively thinking "surely people won't support the war once they see whats really happening! right?". I still thought that people were just misled/misinformed/didn't understand the situation, I didn't realize that most people here actually just don't give a shit about anyone outside the anglosphere/western europe. Just in the past 4-5 months we've seen 100+ people murdered by the american military bombing random boats and no one gives a shit.
I guess we'll have to wait and see if American troops are going to be landed in any significant numbers or if they'll stick to bombing. Maybe I'm jaded but I don't see the "international community" pushing back in this too much
There is the fourth option that america has really invested in SEAD/DEAD capabilities and Venezuelan air defenses were neutralized by large numbers of American stealth aircraft. Then as other uses have pointed out hitting a heli with a manpad isn't easy when the helis are taking precautions and actively looking for anti-air teams.
100% the only way to guarantee sovereignty is nukes. Just look at the DPRK, they've been on America's shitlist for decades & haven't been attacked to the same extent as others like Libya, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Venezuela, etc
