It’s hard to take Rodnyansky seriously on this topic, when he was the one behind multiple pieces of russian propaganda, even pre-2014, often showing Ukrainians as quirky simpletons and/or drunkards, or just less-than. And I agree that people’s opinions can change, and it’s good that he has come to his senses, but it’s hypocritical of him to pass judgements on this topic.
Come on, no one is saying that. But they need to at least acknowledge the mistake and apologize for it. Again, what’s not okay is treating it as a normal occurrence, it’s just a gift for russian propaganda then, “see, even leftist Americans know that Crimea belongs to russia” etc.
