There's not a strong enough argument there. If the things that were said around Jan 6 weren't enough to break through this protection, vague threats probably won't do it either.
Not of the bow, but the center of all lateral resistance, which must be aft of the center of effort (sails). This includes the hull and rudder, but more important is the daggerboard/centerboard/keel, otherwise you would just be pushed downwind.
It does still weigh on minds, I think, when justifying government overreach. But that would be like thinking about the Iran hostage crisis in 2001 for policy decisions.
