  • No idea, if it has a TUI, but I feel like improved performance should be good enough of a reason to switch, if there are no downsides...

  • You not using any libraries? We have like 1100 animals in our software at work (that we know of).

  • I couldn't have imagined this playing out any other way. You'd need major changes to Windows to make it feel sensible here. And those are expensive as hell. If this were genuinely the horse that Microsoft's investors are betting on, then I could have seen that kind of money being invested. But yeah, no, the horseshit they're betting on is AI.

  • Isn't that what always happens, though, that they only talk about changing things?

  • Maybe it's saying that it's a single flavor, which is a combination of honey+sugar+strawberry+vanilla?

I've never even seen candy corn, so I am just guessing wildly...

  • Looks like a dandelion...

  • It would be my kind of humor, if half the effect was actually just getting folks to regularly eat breakfast.

  • Nah, I haven't had a car for a few years and my car before that didn't have this feature, because it was an old car... 🙂

  • Yeah, I feel like people are mainly confused/annoyed, because splitscreen multiplayer existed before online multiplayer, so seeing games ship with online multiplayer but no splitscreen, that just feels backwards...

  • I was genuinely wondering, if that's the joke, having never seen this light before...

  • Cool, that they're finally rolling out a UI for the profiles. That feature has been available since the earliest of days, but only power users knew about it, because it just wasn't accessible through the UI.

  • It was likely posted to a platform like TikTok, where all videos are in portrait. So, the video creator likely had clips in 16:9, but then chained them in the TikTok video editor and that put them into this 9:16 format...

  • It may not be an industrial-grade desiccant, but the major advantage of rice is that people tend to have it at home...

  • Oh man, I read that as "heaven no", then as "heave-no" (like heave-ho), I even considered it might be some sort of Spanish. Did not make the connection with "hello" until I read the article.

  • I was genuinely going to ask, if this thing has a front camera for driving into a parking bay. Even if you lean forward and stretch your neck, you'll hardly see the parking bay coming up...
