  • Thanks. I gave it a go but it wasn't playing well with my pixel and yeah, no profiles as you noted. I'll give it another go soon though, thanks for the suggestion.

  • The Clicks Communicator stumbled by marketing itself as a "second phone". It has everything I want out of a "real" phone, no AI push, and it's small. I'm going to try it as my next (only) phone.

    `GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=keep

    GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="$GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT gfxrotation=3"`

    Then regenerating grub.

  • It's all working as expected but I couldn't get Plymouth rotated without graphical glitches with a gui so I just go no GFX on the SSD decrypt. I think Grub rotates fine.

  • Omg I have the exact same laptop and have had the exact same issue. Apparently there is a quirk downstream to fix it in the kernel. I had best experience with Fedora and just disabling Plymouth and use no gui for decrypt. I think Grub is ok for me. DM me if you like and want me to check anything specific when I get home so we can compare notes.
