Couple of bags (>= 2kg) or 2 liters of cola (200 g) to a truck load? Not only is there a magnitude difference, I also doubt that 2 kg will do that. Normal amounts are up to 0.1 %, say you need 0.5 % to make it significantly weaker. 10 cubic yards, 7.5 m³ of concrete, are about 18'000 kg. 0.5 % of that are 90 kg.
To add to the criticism, they are also not even remotely to scale. They are only about 10 meters in the picture. They are usually at least 3x as long (for old wind turbines) and about 8x as long for modern ones.
Last time this happened to me, more or less, I was trying to find the original source of some commonly (in the field) understood thing. After digging deeper and deeper I came out at Einstein or some similar physicist from the early 19 hundredths. That was wild and unexpected, as it was decades earlier than what I expected. The experiments they did to get us here is amazing.
Someone selling drugs has a lot of responsibility. I am sure some of them were really cool and did some work to prevent harm. But sellers usually care a lot about money. Someone getting decades surely did not just sell a little bit?
Crazy how pro-drug use people here are. As if many people aren't dumb and not just take whatever drug they see. As if they make informed decisions and make sure they also don't harm others. Many people suck and we need to deal with that in a reasonable way, even if it means that we to limit what everyone is allowed to do. Maybe sometime like a divers licence for certain drugs? With checks to make sure they are not destroying their live with it after losing control.
Yes, but selling drugs is not cool, even when there are legal institutions that are allowed to do it. You can also get amphetamines and opioids as real medication.
What is your argument? Let's not incentivize a reduction of emissions because someone somewhere might not follow the incentive....?
