  • Western Marxism [...] is a really good read. Probably also an important read.

I'm not entirely sure how to word this, but I have caught myself thinking I should forgo things, they are treats and bad, as a step towards... [becoming a better communist]. But it seems to be more christianty influencing me, purity and poverty, not communism.

  • You may wish to place a link at the top of this to your new versions. Some external links to this specific version may exist, so people would be led to this (now) older version.

    Also SUS is up

  • Reddit banned communists, so communist made a reddit alternative (lemmy.) Reddit then continued to ban comumunists, so they went to the communist reddit alternative. That's why there are communists in the communist reddit alternative.

  • I was looking at some old ReadFanon comments yesterday, and I was just reminded of this one

And for anyone else reading this who doesn't know of the below essay. I think the paragraph that starts with "I've seen plenty of de facto vanguards emerge" leads into https://www.jofreeman.com/joreen/tyranny.htm

  • Actually, by this chart, seppos are those materially aligned with the hegemony, and she also uses usonians and americans.

  • It's not quite as easily understood as statesian or usonian, but I quite like what Erika3sis uses: Seppo

  • Where do you dumb fucks get this shit from?

Keep on making shit up you dumb ass.

    Modlog strikes again.

  • Death to production, unlimited chaos on everyone.

  • That is only 18 pages

  • The alt text says Alterlaa. So yes Vienna

  • It is not undemocratic to ensure the rights of the people.

And I do not want the enslavement of people.

  • being un-democratic is a bad thing

    Do you think so?

  • You imply that it is good to have term limits, despite the fact that it is clearly un-democractic to limit who the people can vote for. If the people like someone and think they should continue their work, they should be allowed to do so. [EDIT:] And if China did have term limits... what would it change? Xi ends his terms and then what? Someone else will simply step up.

I didn't say it wasn't. I said it would be better if it was.

  • US has term limits and doesn’t even permit a “leader for life.”

    Lol. Lmao even.

US has a broader international identity

I would say "lol, lmao even," but the horrors inflicted on all the non-whites in the US is not a laughing matter.

    and is much less isolationist.

Sure would be better if it was.

  • No no, see, they did make a bunch of claims as evidence. They may not have provided any sources for those claims and haven't proven those claims true. But they did provide a lot of claims and say that it is evidence of something.

That we require it to be more rigorous than that is not their problem

  • No I mean your reply to OpenStars didn't show up on piefed.social, because OpenStars has Lemmy.ml blocked, see RedWizards comment on how blocking functions on piefed.
