  • Many people dont actually delete, but edit the content. Also, even if the data stays and gets used for training, so be it, not more you can do about it, at least I tried. But mass purging your account history still makes the site worse for searched topics and is the last bastion of resistance after shuffling off that cesspool.

  • I know people said reddit restored their mass overwtitten comments, but iirc this was a brief scare due to some problem with the tool used or servers or something. I think reddit even officially commented that they are not doing this.

  • I had not nuked my account history, because while reddit went to shit for me, I still used it as an info source via search. And so I wanted to leave my posts/comments in case they add value to someone else, who still uses the platform. But with this, if I am not lazy, I just might. I don’t even care about the AI training bit, rather that it is Google AI.

  • So does archinstall.

  • Theres no real reason to manually install arch anymore though, archinstall script is easy, and works well. Yea you don’t get a fancy GUI, but there are plenty of options to choose at install time.

  • Personally, if i have too much and/or too late, i have a hard time falling asleep in the evening.

  • Nvidia by default does not preserve video memory when you suspend.

Relatively easy to fix if you follow arch wiki.

  • But even so your precious cubic musing doth fall flat when you consider your deep dish quiche permutates quickly into toast the moment it is cut.

Not to mention one might argue it misses the classification entirely, for a slice of deep dish pizza clearly is endowed with two structural carb sides. And should such a classification exist, it would permutate once more should it be eaten outside first.

While the manuscript of elegant salads stays much more robust to perturbations, a deep dish pizza remains firmly a salad untill the last bite.

  • You are a true scholar of food theory I see.

But alas, you fool, should you thoroughly inspect the manuscripts (specifically Appendix C), you would see that salad theory firmly debunks cuberule for the farce that it is!

  • All of this arguing about if it is a pizza, yet the simple truth that it is a salad escapes everyone.

  • Another vote for Garmin instinct (2 solar in my case). Not E-ink but oldschool style black/white LCD. Full charge with nightly pulsox is just above 2 weeks, would be 3 if i turned off nightly pulsox. With solar, if you are active outside and have a sunny climate, you probably do not need to charge basically at all.

There is also the instinct crossover for the hybrid look. But first series instincts are supposedly hit or miss on the software. And trust me, the whole analogue watch thing is nice for looks, but really you will not look at it if you have a digital clock on the watch face.

  • Noone is being prohibited from using the code, the code can be used if they comply with the license, which they didn’t.

Do they make money off the snakeoil from artists? No. But they still make money off the snakeoil, they made quite a bit of it with glaze in the form of research grants etc, likely the same with nightshade. And in the end they just peddle false hope.

  • The old one, yes. The new ones have a connected water border (much like this one).

  • Looks fantastic, the idea and craftsmanship is great. But to be completely honest, I think I would prefer actually playing on the base game. Although I don’t really play Catan that often, if you play it regularly you might be sick of the base board I guess.

  • The point is you offer someone who registered for mail in to simply sell you their ballot along with a signed envelope. I would vager doing this for a few votes would be fairly easy. Certainly plenty of poor voters would easily sell a vote. Idk about 10, but for 20-50 bucks? For sure. I would imagine someone selling a vote would be less likely to come forward in some respect too, so if you target the right people, at some minor scale you would even get away with it no problem.

Yes this is obviously not happening, not at scale anyway, and certainly not enough to flip the election. But the idea that this is particularly hard in itself, let alone impossible, is absurd.

  • Of course, that was my point with 10$ doesn’t buy silence. Top comment simply seemed to imply that buying blank mail-in ballots is impossible which for sure doesn’t seem to be. I could even see some nut at least trying to buying say 5-10, but ironically I think a Trump supporter is more likely to try to pull this.

  • I fail to see why it would not work though? Instead of paying 10$ for an empty ballot from a registered voter you pay 10$ for an empty ballot from a registered voter and and their signed envelope?

Like I am not saying this happened, because 10$ ballot sales would probably have made the news around the election, I doubt 10$ buys silence. But like I fail to see how this is impossible?

  • Yea, no. The supermarket I shop at, I just scan everything with my phone as I go, scan a QR code at self checkout and pay.

Worst case I have to wait 2 minutes for someone to do a verification scan (5 random items crom my bag) or wait for them to verify my age.

  • Is self scan that rare around you? One of our (Latvia) two big brand supermarkets have scanners you carry around, then deposit at the slef checkout lines. The other one, however, I just scan everything with my phone, then at checkout scan a QR code with my phone and pay.
