Exactly. I can really imagine these tools van be helpful and save time, but ffs don’t just blindly trust everything like that. If you brought in a new coworker to transcribe for you you’d also first just see if it’s OK, right?
And yeah, not sure if we can ever fully trust such an AI (actually maybe humans as well?) so reviewing and supervision will be necessary.

I just got my PhD in December and still jobless. I agree with this sentiment.
Someone on Reddit mentioned something fun. These people are the people that just cheat their way through life and through succes, maybe thinking it’s smart instead of cheating. Then they get at a position of power, and suddenly there are actual stakes and you can’t just cheat your way through it all, and you just suck at it. But your colleagues or partners who also helped get you where you are also cheat so your kinda stuck? Or we are stuck with them, prolly put it better.
