  • Faster than wisdom. Ha! Gotta remember that.

  • Reminds me of "bless your heart".

  • Yes

  • probably

  • Hey!

    That one's about me!

    ;D

(took a thought an a half.)

  • They've already been. 8 9 times. I am still here.

  • Hoovering accepted. ;D

  • I had no thoughts of you one way or the other at all, let alone that. Though I do now... Way to show your narcissism shaft, conjuring hostile poor-me self-aggrandising drama from nothing.

    I was just thanking you.

  • Huh?

I was a linux newcomer, and YaST felt very well designed for me.

Have they ruined the design in the past couple decades?

  • I probably misremembered.

I thought it was in that that he mentioned he'd recently changed to something else.

Maybe crossed wires in my memory. Ugh, I don't wanna go rewatch that... fun as it was.

  • Yep. Makes sense why USA has so many homeless and prisoners, and why there's such weak social security to induce the precarity fear and desperation. Then they offer you social security if you join the military. Sick.

  • We might all start using Ironclad.

  • Thanks for looking out for those who did not immediately see it as a whimsical fabrication.

  • Interpretation's a bitch. Lemme play with that bitch a lil bit, if you like freedom of interpretation...

P.S: punching Nazis is a good way to let off steam

I'd rather take the Daryl Davis approach to converting peeps away from being Nazis, rather than some counter-effectual cathartic malarchy exercising violent power over them to drive them to dig their heels in even deeper doubling down on tooling up their totalitarian fascist authority.

Fun that that started on feigning comradery, then straight into implanting a kind of depressing defeatism, chirps a "your seatbelt first" line after taking off your seatbelt, cryptically promotes the family and nepotism, and the idea that your delusional positivity-ninnyism takes priority over real suffering and iniquitous loss, while carrying on to feign that this message (/messenger) cares about you, and insists you stay small. Sure, burnout is no fun. But as Bucky said "It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest." So while "we're doing what we can", keep an eye out for "what you can do" reaching far further. Each of us could hit upon an idea that changes the world for the better, for each and all.

  • Yeah, sounded like a broken rearangement of maslow's hierarchy of needs, almost like it excuses the loss (theft) of resources from each and all [attempting to get us to accept our abuse with positivity ninnyism]. ... That it started implanting a depressive idea too, reads like a bit of a cult psyop.

  • mommy by their actions

  • But... my mommy's a covert narcissist committing Munchhausen-by-proxy, poisoning me to make herself look like a suffering angel to feed on strangers' empathy and admiration, seeking to maintain power over me, and keep me sick, crippled and dependent on her.

  • In UK too, the establishtment more right-wing party.

What's it in Russia? [where Bakunin's from]

  • LOL/cry.

Do you want to make it impossible for anyone to oppress his fellow-man? Then make sure that no one shall possess power.

And some more Bakunin quotes on imbalance of power / power over others / oppression / statism, for more context...

If you took the most ardent revolutionary, vested him in absolute power, within a year he would be worse than the Tsar himself.

Powerful states can maintain themselves only by crime, little states are virtuous only by weakness.

He who is given power will inevitably become an oppressor and exploiter of society.

Power corrupts those who exercise it as much as those who are forced to obey it.

The instinct to command others, in its primitive essence, is a carnivorous, altogether bestial and savage instinct. Under the influence of the mental development of man, it takes on a somewhat more ideal form and becomes somewhat ennobled, presenting itself as the instrument of reason and the devoted servant of that abstraction, or political fiction, which is called the public good. But in its essence it remains just as baneful, and it becomes even more so when, with the application of science, it extends its scope and intensifies the power of its action. If there is a devil in history, it is this power principle.

"Class", "power", "state", are three inseparable terms, one of which presupposes the other two.

The oppression of one is the oppression of all, and we cannot violate the liberty of one being without violating the freedom of all of us.

    And my fave:

We are convinced that liberty without socialism is privilege, injustice; and that socialism without liberty is slavery and brutality.
