Same great Dharma, new Fediverse packaging!

Check out DharmaCurious.org for ramblings on philosophy and the occasional creative writing project!

  • Is there somewhere to buy these? I'd love to send them to about 75 relatives.

  • Same! I had the LG v60 dual screen case, and loved it. Thats the farthest I'm willing to go, though. It was unwieldy, and almost impossible to use a popsocket with, no way to use a wallet case, et cetera. It's not worth that price tag for less options just for the occasional use of a bigger screen.

Now, foldable tablet? That's something I'd be down for (in theory. I am poor.). Closes up small enough for a pocket, folds out when you use it. Only screen on one side, so it can tossed in a bag without worrying about it, because it's closed up and the screen is protected.

  • Well, there'll be a lot less billionaires pretty quickly, from there it's gonna be a lot of references to star trek, doctor who, dead philosophers and general southernisms.

  • Is the joke that they got there too late..?

  • As a confused American, why does 187ml size exist? My confusion is not with the metric system, I'm fluentish. But... Why so small? I don't think I've ever seen a bottle of wine smaller than 500ml, and even that is pretty teeny. That's the size of a water bottle. Am I just not shopping at the right liquor stores, or is this a British thing to do shots of wine?

  • It does make me wonder where they swiss government will acquire their coke. With weed, it's fairly easy to grow it wherever you need to, but with coke, you pretty much have to be in certain regions, yeah?

If that's the case, is this still going to be supporting those same cartels? If more countries legalized, we could maybe hope to see legally grown, harvested, and processed coke without all the slave labor and shit. Could be a real boon for South American countries, too, if the cartels lost power, and the cocoa plantations could be nationalized.

I just woke up, so I may be just talking out my ass, though

  • I like this version of Gandalf. It makes me think he got Bilbo to leave his house by threatening to blow a brand new Hobbit Hole in him. Lmao

  • This is hilarious, but is there supposed to be sound?

  • If you have a gurdwara in your area, they often do free meals, almost like a restaurant. Baptist churches tend to have dinners on Wednesdays, and the Hare Krishnas are always good for some heavily dairy vegetarian foods. I wish more people knew this.

  • I ended up on a massive Whatsapp group populated primarily by Indian women after I took a content writing class a few years ago. Made several very good friends. I've asked them about the whole Indian scammer thing. One of them said she knows a few, and they do it because they literally don't have other options for employment. Which makes sense. Rampant, unfettered capitalism forces people to make decisions that go against their conscience for the sake of survival. I feel bad for scammers sometimes, other times I feel less charitable when they're scamming my dad...

    Whole situation just fucking sucks.

  • This is awesome! The way this works is what I've been doing for years by manually creating different emails. Mymail.streaming@gmail, myemail.work@gmail, myemail.medical@gmail et cetera .I have literally dozens of Gmail accounts to keep things organized. The idea of people able to transition that to a single address sounds amazing. Can't wait to get approved.

  • Per my last email, this is on my radar, but I really don't have the bandwidth to deal with it at the moment. I'm just following up with you really quickly, please advise on how'd you'd like to proceed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't Tanya in HR take lead on this?

  • That's funny, I have found zero furry porn in my feed browsing all. Tons of boobs and poonaynay, but nary a fursona, and exceptionally few penii.

  • ... is Charlie brown threatening to euthanize snoopy‽

  • Poor people should just simply try working for their father's company for a year and then taking a VP position at a small fortune 500. I don't understand why they won't try that, and pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Tsk tsk tsk.

  • Texas does not have a monopoly on y'all. Y'all is collective, both as a noun, and as ownership. Y'all is Southern for Comrade.

  • What's the hardest part of being out as trans, other than the obvious transphobes? The subtle stuff most people don't think about, I mean.

  • Capitalism.
