praise Ishtar/Inanna/Astarte Queen of Heaven and Earth

sorry if i hornyposted i like to fixate on my hobbies

  • if you can find them get "not smart" or "minimally smart" commercial monitors. they are more durable but lacking of "features".

the higher end have redundant fans for cooling to preserve the leds. also you can swap the mainboard!

warning i don't know if anything has changed recently. there used to be a kind of deal with b2b to give the commercial operator more control.

you really just want a computer or commercial monitor as a tv and customize yourself

(fuck you can tell i've read too many trump tweets lately because my parenthesis use is getting ridiculous)

  • owls are just derpy cats of the skies they are delightful

  • yeah good choice it isn't worth it i don't think. not at all. take a caffine t break for a couple days and you'll get a better experience

  • thanks. just realized it sounds a little virtue signally but i dunno my life has been a big girlfailure but it's one little thing i'm proud of.

omg tho i was basically just being a commie mommy to a bunch of neurodiverse young men and women

  • and then you manufacture slightly different specs using similar techniques: use vapor deposition and smart creating actual smart materials, laid down molecule by molecule. (monocrystalline metals, printing chips inside materails to create basically synthetic "skin", real sci fi shit)

imagine if that process were as cheap as making sheets of plastic

  • when i was a manager i remember how pissed i was that my company dumped most of previous HR functions (payroll, raises, PTO) like that onto us (i'm talking an hourly department head not even salary). it added a bunch of extra workload even if it was just a small team. but fuck was it great to be able to pay out my own time off and i'm such a conscientious obsessive that i never fucked up my team's requests. i even adjusted everyone's pay rates to maximum which was just mindlessly approved by our aging store manager trying to click through notifications (lol and got some company wide letters sent out about that one)

no longer that role but also glad i can still get all this put in by my currently much more forgetful and sloppy dept. head even if i have to walk him through it.

but yeah my #1 personal rule was to never fuck that shit up and double, triple, quadruple check because that's literally people's lives and may as well be committing an act of violence against them. i had cash in my wallet on standby if i ever fucked that up.

so what i'm saying is these HR people should have to give you free money

  • besides it would be covered by the "It's Against Federal Law to Use this Product in a Manner Inconsistent with it's Labeling" not the analogue act. otherwise it wouldn't be legal to manufacture

  • i go back and forth between working on some alt-history fic where the SU survives and thrives, getting warm fuzzies from it, then lamenting the world we are doomed to inhabit.

  • only thing I've heard of is hemp farmers shipping bulk extracted "crude" CBD oil to China to be processed into various other cannabinoids. mostly because the U.S. doesn't even have the capacity to do so at scale. and when some cannabinoid companies were discovered doing this they got in legal trouble (of course redditors smugling declaring it "Temu thc-a" or whatever).

so yeah thank you China for a brief period where pure thc-a crystals, cbd isolate, and other noids were as cheap as culinary spices. only downside is all the shitty one use vapes that resulted from that

  • bologna

  • it's pretty icky stuff though. feels like really short acting, dirty 4-flouroamphetamine. a bit too heavy on seratonin but also paradoxically norepinedrine. you'll get some MDMA softness combined with jittery cardiovascular effects. also the extraction process gives pretty variable dosage and will make you hate the smell of lavender forever

(so yeah: i don't recommend propylhexedrine. would be cool if it was still dexedrine though)

  • modern Russia is basically the aftermath of the Mad Max bandit leaders carving out their kingdoms and each takes over their own piece of well built but decaying Soviet infrastructure and manufacturing.

nobody knows how to further develop or repair it but the shit just starts right up

  • Rawr

    Jump
  • my first gf but go back to like 2005 instead.

i got to watch punks and nu metalhead women make this shift the same as watching skater punks and tough guy hardcore dudes start growing lumberjack beards and wearing beanies (oh and watching everyone's jeans get incredibly tight).

"i've seen things you won't believe"

  • people just don't realize they are basically marching orders to his private army. they can just execute the orders with guns and shit. arrest state regulators. even if the courts get them out of it the process is the punishment

  • let me guess without reading: similar to "private property is just stuff owned by a person" this article goes with the assumption that "profit" is simply "what's left after income minus costs".

those commies just want to run every corporation at a permanent loss and bankrupt us ALL!!!

  • god sometimes i wish we were in cyberpunk 2077 and two megacorps could literally go MAD with their private nuclear arsenals on each other

  • did AI generate this pic? guy on the far right before the cutt off warped asian lady looks like clean cut Seth Rogan

not one single body looks remotely natural

  • same but for NWS except everything has now been privatized (even the spotter network) and i had to buy my own shirt

  • yeah same. plus this is the busy time of the year for me at work and i'm too exhausted.
