  • The only thing there that I use is Battle.net.

This might not be helpful, but I found that installing it through Lutris worked for me. Systems and OSs are different, so it may not work for you.

Use your computer to do the things you want, and if you need to use Windows to do it, use Windows to do it.

  • There's a large difference between these two sentences:

"Say goodbye to Tinder boys""Say goodbye to Tinder, boys"

  • This isn't really a question, but a very thinly veiled accusation.

Maybe post this somewhere that it belongs.

  • I would like to inform you that Canadian gays love 2 shows from Oz; "Kath and Kim", as well as "Please like me".

Wentworth is a little extra, but it has it's camp moments.

  • Yep. He plays a much larger role in DISC

  • How, if possible, can I log in to say, discuss.online above, with this account. Or do I need to make a second account over there.

You can view/comment/vote on all of the content there while logged into lemmy.world. As an example, you should be able to click this !flipperzero@programming.dev and participate there. or !AskUSA@discuss.online.

Also, related, is there a way to just, use my Mastodon account, and drop this one completely?

I am not a fan of "microblogging", so I am not 100% certain. I have seen a lot of posts/comments from Mastodon on lemmy instances, they are the people using hashtags.

Kbin and Mbin are Lemmy-like systems that also hooks into microblogging much easier, so you might be able to do a one account thing there much easier.

Again, not certain because microblogging is not my jam.

  • yes, why wouldn't it be?

I guess if you're gender-fluid, and you and your clone are different genders from each other at the time, then maybe it isn't

  • I think it’s because they usually mean “Shut up, I don’t care what you’re thinking about, just be pretty.”

  • I think it's because they usually mean "Shut up, I don't care what you're thinking about, just be pretty."

  • pathetic

  • If anyone wants the source, this is artwork from TheRealFlyDog

  • What about Redout?

  • It's not my intent to discourage you! I just mean it's one thing for Furniture Co. to get sued out of existence, it's another thing entirely for Captain Aggravated (the actual human) to get sued out of house and home.

I know that for large pieces, as long as you provide instructions and sufficient hardware to attach it to a wall (like an L-bracket), it also reduces the chances that you (or the company) could be found at fault.

It's very not likely to happen, but if something awful happens, you do want at least some barrier between yourself and litigation.

Again, not trying to get you to stop building things, just encouraging you to CYA.

  • Not sure on what country you're in, but look into the ramifications about selling something as an individual compared to spending a bit of money to sell things as a corporation.

Furniture companies have been sued for furniture falling on and killing children, which is something that you don't want to be liable for.

Also, if you have more than one person involved with selling things such as an artisan shop, and you'll want more than a hand-shake deal about things like payment, hours required, pricing, etc.

Also, there could be tax reasons, depending on how much you sell.

...but maybe that's what you mean by "business plans"

  • Infowars was/is a media company, Alex Jones' show was on TV and online. They are known for peddling and creating far right conspiracy theories, and because of this were often banned from social media websites for breaking their Terms of Service.Because Elon is a right-wing conspiracy theorist who likes Alex Jones, he unbanned infowars from Twitter when he(Elon) bought it.

Inforwars was recently sued into the ground because of the claims he made to his audience about the victims of school shootings and their families. Because of this, he was ordered to have his assets liquidated. The Onion (a satirical news/comedy website) won the bid for Inforwars and its assets, and Elon isn't a fan of this, so he's trying to not allow The Onion access to the Inforwars Twitter account.

  • The shirt is using an aggressive tone, which is inferring the person wearing is someone who would complain about "those damn libs and their pronouns."

But even with the aggressive tone, the shirt is letting us know that which pronouns he uses.

  • I know that other services, like the trending community bot, that recent had issues in the same vein. The trend bot only showed like 3 communities, and it normally shows about a dozen.

So, there is likely a federation issue, or something wrong with however these services get their data.

  • They stopped being common place just before my time, so it would sense for you to have never experienced them.

There isn't a good reason for people have down-voted you.
