Back when I was a military child, we lived near a runway for the jets to practice on. Pretty constant jet noise, loud enough to shake the whole house, on days that they used it.
I was able to sleep through that after a couple months, but now? I have to run a fan at max speed with my door closed so one of the other people walking normally across the house doesn't wake me up.
I've had a little weirdness from my 8bitdo "xbox" controller, but I think that might be more due to dual booting and using the controller on both OSes rather than an issue with linux itself.
No one has more problems on windows than a linux-first user.
Every thread like this has people that can't seem to get windows to do the bare minimum, but I have yet to have a single hiccup in months. I don't get it. This isn't even a "linux bad" comment, I dual boot and enjoy my linux install as well, the only "problems" I have on there are from being new to linux.
I saw that thread, I didn't notice that was you. Glad it got sorted out.
I noticed I was recently banned from a couple star trek comms about a month ago over the mod not reading the sarcasm in a comment of mine they must have seen (I assume, I only made one comment on the day I was banned). I'm really bothered by it though, none of the posts from those comms seem to get the numbers for me to see them in normal browsing, otherwise I would have noticed a month ago.
Dude, I went through your post history (trying to find something star trek related I vaguely remember that I'm pretty sure you had comments on, nothing to worry about) and holy shit. ALL of your comments are upvoted pretty high and deleted by moderators, whose punch bowl did you piss in?
Why are Harry Potter fans so uniquely unable to let go and find a better franchise to support? I know TRANS people that Joanne could apparently deadname them and spit in their face and they'd still spend every disposable dollar they have to buy HP games, merch, and go to the amusement park again.
Keep taking those tests to affirm you're still a Hufflepuff, I guess.
