  • Ive been thinking more and more that the only way forward for the green party may just be to pic a few states and focus on local races. Get control over city councils and some mayoralships. Hell, a green caucus in state houses could actually do some good

  • While I have my issues with some of the people involved with the channel, I'd say breaking points is pretty legit as a news source. They are a spin-off of a previous project from "the hill" and have people on staff from the intercept. The person who is being interviewed also runs a news bulletin, which is one of the main sources of this news.

  • Israel's continued existanse is linked mainly to American backing. They are by most definitions a vassal state. We could easily exert control over thir actions by withholding financial and military aid, but the government simply refuses to hold them to the same standards as most other countries.

  • America has been operating under the belief of a "Unipolar world" seince it successfully toppled the USSR in the early 90's. Before that, the US and the USSR operated as the 2 primary pole of the the then "multipolar world". America has assisted with inserections against governments on most continents of the globe in order to install leadership that is more 'friendly' to its interests.

    So yes, America has been the main cause of geopolitical conflict in the modern era. Before that it was England, Germany, France, Netherlands, etc.
