  • I bought a big pack of metal sporks as a gag 10ish years ago. My kid started using them non stop and became trans. Now I know why. I’m not mad, just thought it was a natural thing and not because of the sporks.

  • I absolutely hate dog poo bags. People will bag the poo the just toss it on the side of the trail. FFS you’re just adding plastic to the poo and making it worse. I would rather just have poo all over the trail instead of hundreds of plastic bags filled with poo 10 feet from the trail.

  • The final reason I still boot to windows, publishing apps.

  • I got the switch for 2 games and ended up owning 4 games in total. It wasn’t worth the price of admission.

  • That’s console pricing and that’s why I stopped buying consoles. Nintendo is especially bad with this. They make great games but always charge full price.

  • I’m very impressed by AI but, as someone who grew up with technology I don’t want it outside of a strictly fenced area. I don’t want it reading my emails, documents, code, and spreadsheets. I don’t want that eye over my shoulder that phones home whenever it wants and consumes a huge amount of my system resources.

Very impressed, very don’t want it on someone else’s terms.

  • This band has changed so much since then. This was the first album of theirs I heard and fell in love with it.

  • That cat looks like it’s tail was broken multiple times to get it to spiral like that…

  • Hell no

  • Messages is the only place they don’t spam ads at you. I use the messenger app for work because they think Facebook is the best way to do business communications. Maybe I’ll be able to convince them to switch to something else.

  • I would add in some rom collections and book repositories as well. The whole library of Nintendo games is under a gig and would go a long way for entertaining people.

  • I love technology and seeing what I can and can’t get to work. I have a self hosted image generator and LLM (stable diffusion and ollama). It was fun for a little while, generating images of whatever popped in mind and using the llama for code completion, grammar checks, and rewording things. I even started working on something like that AI streamer, Neuro. It’s all garbage though. The whole stack has been relegated to sending welcome messages on a discord server. It’s a neat toy but anything past that is just adding a whole layer of inaccuracy to whatever you’re using it for and way too many people don’t realize that.

  • Yep, we all have matching hats, flags, shirts, and a 24/7 hard on for 1 pedophile politician and his band of protectors

  • In this video he finds out about the DVD bootleg market after complaining about the quality of these “re-releases”.

Bro bought bootlegs thinking they were official

  • Nothing all self contained like that but you can replicate it with most tiling window managers, a few terminal anpps, and some configurations.

  • It’s an android-x86 based OS. Basically android for PC. There have been builds of android for X86 for a good while now but I can’t imagine using that as a daily driver.

  • I completely forgot that grub could be themed… brb

  • Literally the only thing I would want “smart” glasses to do is play videos or show messages from select apps. Ditch the shitty camera, don’t ever connect to an “AI” service, and for the love of god, don’t be made to lock into a big tech company..

  • Yeah, Linux drivers are all in the kernel and your hardware uuids won’t change except for the parts that get swapped out. You will have issues if you are changing cpu architecture though. I haven’t tried moving from x86 to x86_64 but I can imagine that it will cause problems.
