  • Oh nice lekker gevarieerd.

    Mijn prints zijn erg uiteenlopend volgens mij, ooit eens bezig geweest met een custom pc behuizing met van die aluminium extrusie frames en 3d geprinte onderdelen voor bevestiging van de verschillende componenten.

    Maar het uiteindelijke idee is om popcultuur zaken te printen voor social media aandacht (cosplay props, replica wapens etc) en dan mijn eigen designs geprint te verkopen, maar die designs wil ik naar aanleiding van wat populair is op bijvoorbeeld etsy. Nou is "wall art" een populaire zoekterm en met hulp van een ai image generator ben ik mijn eerste design aan het uitwerken voor de verkoop.

    Veel mensen vinden het schilderen altijd veel werk, nou zijn er ook veel best ontevreden over hun eigen vaardigheden dus dat is een beetje waar mijn vrouw op inhaakt. Mensen helpen als ze ergens tegenaan lopen of gewoon complete modellen schilderen voor ze.

  • Ik ben van een ender 5 plus met veel mods naar een bambulab x1c gegaan.

    Het is vooral het menselijke aspect waar het mis ging, een keer met filament wisselen 4x op feed gedrukt met het idee dat het goed moet zijn maar dat bleek nog het restant van de vorige rol (dezelfde kleur toevallig) te zijn en hij heeft toen de nieuwe rol niet gepakt, maar vervolgens heb ik vol vertrouwen op resume gedrukt en ben er bij weg gelopen.

    Gister een probleempje met supports, ik dacht dat als je supports kruist in de slicer dat hij ze dan samen zou voegen tot een nieuw geheel. Maar nu blijkt dat ie ze gewoon door de andere supports heen print en dus ook andere print onderdelen doorkruist.

    Lesje geleerd toch, bij nader inzien waren de supports ook compleet overbodig.

    Wat voor mini's print je zoal? Mijn vrouw heeft ook een resin printer en schildert miniaturen voor andere mensen die bijvoorbeeld ook warhammer spelen. Zij is zelf niet van het spelen.

  • Wel goed, de nieuwe 3d printer is wat anders en het was een week aan print falen en nu ook rugklachten sinds vrijdag.

    Maar we zien het zonnig in want er is veel vooruitgang met de printer. Ben wel vastgelopen met mijn eerste design bedoeld voor verkoop maar ik heb gewoon een voltijd baan dus zit niet om geld verlegen gelukkig.

    Dit mag van mij wel wekelijks, want het geeft me een kans om even terug te kijken naar de positieve dingen. Ik neig altijd om de negatieve te onthouden omdat daar de meeste potentie zit voor verandering, maar het eist wel eens zijn tol.

  • I never had any real issues with taxes back when groceries, rent and insurance were affordable.

    The issues came to light when life started to cost 1.5 times our income, while still having to pay 40% on income and an extra 20% on expenses. I'd rather pay less taxes and eat, when taxes don't do anything. I also learned that our safety nets are a scam, they set up so many bullshit rules that when i needed it they literally went: "you have the right to receive €800 but you won't get it, no matter how hard you try". I tried for a year until i realised our money is just being stolen under the cover of "taxes".

  • I reported a coworker for being drunk at work 3 days a week...it took them 13 years! Until they passed him the ultimatum: either you accept our help with your alcoholism or you're out.

    He left and started a new life in a new country, wife kids etc donated a large part of his money to a local school...only to die months after due to stomach issues as a result of years of alcohol abuse.

    We had 2 guys like that and they took 13 years with one and 15 with the other.

    The one of 15 years controlled heavy machinery daily.

    Oh and the occasional OF girl who managed to flash some puss without it getting taken down.

    I love when i bought something...(i assume) google thinks it's a great idea to advertise that exact combination of products from the exact webshop on the next website i visit.

    How much did tiktok ruin google's brain to make them think that is going to be effective marketing?
