Here to read the internet.

  • Fool's day aside... the end when he does in fact wreck locks really confirms that locks just keep honest people out.

  • thank you for reminding my to take out the dead batteries from my Ti-86 before they leak!

still have it next to my desk... since 1997 or so.

  • door opening sound knock knock

I can still sometimes "hear" ICQ, and that's going on almost 30 years ago now?

  • you're both making valid points - but I think Linker's point was that "we simply don't have the money to fight climate change" loses a bit of credibility when it suddenly appears to fight the bogeyman.

  • I read it as "no indication that Ukraine [the state] or Ukrainians [the people] were involved."

  • as a retailer, might make a lot of sense not trying to close the books every year within a week of Christmas?; OR to prevent all the accountants from working overtime in that period?

    my company's FY is June-May

  • Segway Navimow

I have the Husq, but this is the first I've heard of the Segway. Pricier, but looks rather interesting!

  • I have the Husq 115h, 3rd year starting now. After it "breaks in" and everything is even, you don't see/notice that the pattern is random. You just see cut grass.

I did have to modify the unit though! I contacted vender and Husq but it didn't really go anywhere. Basically I had to cut off 2" of the "chin" in front because it kept hitting chunks of grass and triggering impact. After cutting, it works perfect. Seems like a really odd defect on their end.

  • My 2010 dodge avenger is pushing 14 years and 150k! I'm hoping it lasts another couple years so there's more/better bev available.

Yes, survivor bias, but other than a new throttle when under warranty it hasn't needed much. Heck, the factory battery lasted 11 years!

  • I prefer and default to fitgirl, but I'll admit that sometimes the long unpack time doesn't seem worth the sometimes only 1-5gb file size difference.

  • I still have relatives that say "ugh that's gay" to mean "I don't like that".

I don't speak to these relatives anymore.

  • I'm 40, and when I first opened the image, I was overwhelmed with how hilariously gay it looked. But not in a bad way - almost at if it were made unironically for lgbtq.

The other person that replied to you with a lengthy list is spot on.

  • This dude's time in politics seems like forever ago...

and he's younger than both trump and biden. and has better climate policies too!

  • Name/address, sure, but ethnicity & religion too?

But, side note, when we discovered our county's map-navigated database... we lurk all the time. "who owns this house?" It's also a great way to see who owns empty lots, of which we bought one earlier this year.

  • How are they even getting the input data for this? Like all the private info plus connected to address

  • yeah, other than the obvious "haha-ing in Linux" (which.. I also use Linux) - the REAL answer is people will just keep using the outdated Windows until THAT computer dies it's natural death.

  • ok, true enough, but that timestamp is from 2020, so either way it is super recycled

  • Indiana is not very eager either.

I asked about installing heat pumps and got essentially a "now why would anyone go and do that".

Obviously depends on local contractors and I'm sure they exist.

  • Gaming

    Jump
  • no joke, running around level 1 killing little things is genuinely the best feeling from a game sometimes.

I still think about 2004, when I was leveling human in Northshire, or dwarf in coldridge, or tauren, etc.
