I rode my bike three times today. Once for fun, once to go get groceries (cargo bike), and once to go to the store again because I forgot something. Then I made a nice fire in the firepit with this lovely hardwood we got from a house around the corner who was giving it away and flame grilled some steak and peppers, onions and squash. It was delicious.
It's wild to me that I've lived in the area and been all around the park that surrounds these gardens but I have never been inside. The price just never seemed worth it.
That's both true and also shifting the blame to the consumer. We should have stronger regulation that is enforceable. Not going to happen in the Trumposphere but nice to think about.
It's kind of like how we should all think globally and act locally.
Working 100% remote for the last 10 years has been immensely helpful. Although the rise of being forced into mandatory fun retreats and always on video chats kinda defeats it. I muddle through it though.
