  • I wouldn't say so, it's a sub culture based around music that grew out of Punk. People in that scene aren't any better on the subject of fascism to be honest, Siouxsie Sioux wore swastika armbands and Rozz Williams owned a suspect amount of Nazi memorabilia. Not claiming that represents the music and the target audience in it's entirety but I don't think we should ignore the fact that it's no more immune to bigotry than any other predominantly white and western space.

  • Personally, I think it's mostly due to people coming in from reddit and being outraged that people further left than themselves exist in this space, you know the .world crowd. Fairly new myself, but I can't say I've seen much here that would be out of the ordinary in any other left wing space.

  • They won't.

  • I'm a bit a new here, could anyone explain what the UlyssesT stuff is about?

  • Even the most cartoonish caricatures of Stalin by Western propagandists doesn't come close to the level of bloodshed and pure evil emanated by each of the heads on that mountain.

  • Yeah, kinda weird reddit takes exception to this given how much of a lib place it is. Like even as a lib who believes in "decorum", shouldn't you be understanding of the fact that someone who just got their country attacked by a US proxy wouldn't take too kindly to the heads of states complicit in the assault?

  • Lol yeah, but I didn't make this and happened to just find it. Felt appropriate to post though, given recent events.
